Great menu, reasonable prices. Nice bar, able to see them preparing the food while sitting at parts of the bar.

Marker 32 in our past experience proved it can deliver an excellent experience, but our last 2 visits fell short of expectation. We ate here most recently for a family gathering (7 adults in all). Our table was not the best to begin with (with little to no view), but I expected the food to make up for that. Our starters were the artisan cheese plate, which proved to be far less a creative effort than my previous experiences at Marker 32, with a rather disappointing cheese selection. Our other starter (fried green tomatoes) was up to par. My entree was tuna, disappointing since on a scale of 1 to 10 I would only give it a 7, which is a good bit short of my experience at other local restaurants, and not what I would have expected from a restaurant of this calibre. In fact, no one in our party raved about their entree, another disappointment since 2 of our party were visiting Jacksonville for the first time. Wine and dessert options are good and the desserts we selected did go over well, where mine was an excellent 20 year port wine. Based on having 2 mis-hits in a row, I'm afraid we'll have to think twice before choosing Marker 32 again vs. other fine dining in the area.

We stopped in for lunch at this establishment on a busy Friday at lunch. We were seated quickly, and our server, with plenty of personality, arrived immediately and took our orders. They were delivered quickly, and tasted great!! We took deserts home with us, and they were equally excellent. Would love to return in the future for a leisurely meal in the evening! Don't miss it!

Not sure why the raving reviews... the food was above average and there is a nice selection of items on the menu, but the place is filthy. Everything in there from the ceiling to the floor either needs a bleach wipe down or complete replacement. The floor was so disgusting that we were sliding, in sneakers! The bathroom was gross and the door looked like someone punched it. Place smells like a dirty sponge. This was our first timeWe walked in and someone hollered sit wherever you likeThe table big enough was dirtyWaited minutes for someone to come clean it so we could sit No greeting or welcome just cleaned and walked awayWe clearly had kids with us and we had to ask if they had a kids menuWe had to flag a guy down to say we would like to order an appetizer The sprite in the fountain clearly was out of syrup and we advised and asked for more. Guy said he wasnât sure what he had in the back and asked for us to pick something else!No help with menu or asked if we had been before, my name is...Brought check out and didnât inquire if we wanted dessert or anything elseWe asked for desserts to go and asked for a recommendation and she seemed bothered Than we had to wait so long to check out that I walked up to the counter to pay Overall experience was really fair-poor, but food was excellent. Would only go for take out but considering where itâs located I think we would pass.

Had a conference across the river at the Hyatt and when in town always visit Ruth Chris Steak house. Went here twice during my trip in May. The first I got the NY strip- medium- always tasty and made perfectly and the second trip got the crabcakes- wow- so delicious! The staff was great and can never go wrong with Ruth's famous gin and tonic!

We flew into Jacksonville and asked the rental car agent for the best place for seafood. She recommended The Capital Grille. We were not disappointed! The ambiance, the waitstaff, the seafood and the steak, all were fantastic! Our waiter, Alex, was truly professional. We were still on Texas time and didnât realize we were arriving at closing time. No one said a word until I asked about the lack of guests. It was past closing. Truly fantastic service, especially for being after hours. The steak was perfect. The lobster bisque divine. My wife had scallops that were beyond fabulous! The birthday dish was a touch that put it beyond the top. We will be back!

This is one of our favorite restaurants due to the friendly service, great location, and cool vibe. The desserts arenât too bad to look at either! On this night I had the vegetarian plate and unfortunately it was not up to standard. The spinach was very salty as well as the cheese soufflé. I thought it might be because cheese is salty in nature but it was a little overwhelming for me. My husband had the Porkchop which was outstanding. It wonât deter us from returning but I definitely wonât order the vegetable plate again.

Cash only. Its worth every penny. Friday and Saturday Evening, Reservations are required for the Dinner Extravaganza....its an experience you won't want to miss!
OK so maybe not strong on atmosphere, but the food was terrific and plentiful.. Huge plate of lightly breaded fired shrimp cooked perfectly accompanied by a serve yourself bar of grits, collards, homemade fried green tomatoes, cole slaw, maruinated green bean and tomato salad--comfort food southern style. The price was very very reasonable and refills on shrimp were delivered quickly. Parking can be tight.

It had been some time since we had been to Orsay - I was looking forward to a return visit. The room in which we were seated was extremely noisy - I don't know whose idea the concrete floor was, but a concrete floor just amplifies everything - the noise was deafening. The noise issue was made worse by a large table next to us - they were shouting and carrying-on like they were at a sportsbar - I don't get it. Maybe a burger bar is a good setting for a shouting crowd, but when I am paying top dollar for a nice meal I expect a room where two people can actually have a conversation without shouting. I ordered the Caesar Salad and Beef Stroganoff. The salad was average, lacking personality - but I liked the large, cheesy crouton. The Beef Stroganoff was the best I have ever had: rich and delicious sauce, with shortrib chunks and super-wide, excellent noodles. Serivce was excellent - but the evening was tainted by the high noise level.
