By far the best breakfast restaurant in St. George! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Be warned that the Bear Paw is quaint and does not have a large seating area so be prepared for a possible wait. Itâs worth it! Getting there early on weekends helps. Mostly frequented by locals, it misses the longer lines usually encountered at the off ramp restaurants. Itâs food selection is diverse and weâve never been disappointed. I highly recommend this friendly local favorite!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and by the large crowd appears to be quite popular. Everyone in our party seemed very happy with their selections. My cheese steak sandwich came on a tasty soft pretzel type roll which I enjoyed. The interior of the restaurant was quite unique and presented a comfortable ambience. The best part was our delightful waitress Justice, fast, efficient and a great personality. I'd recommend this restaurant.

The view is spectacular with the dining room high on a bluff overlooking the city of St George. As we dined last night, a big bold orange full moon rose over the city, gracing our dinner with its splendor.Food is excellent, service is professional. Prices are reasonable. I rarely give five stars, but Cliffside earns the accolade.Hello there Jersey-Jack, Thank you very much for your Five Star Review of Cliffside Restaurant! We appreciate your generous review and your comments about your evening. The view is spectacular, especially if the moon is out like you were able to experience last night! Thanks for dining with us, please come back and enjoy another night with us!

Hot Rock Dining in an art gallery atmosphere. Our chef is constantly hand picking special steaks in addition to our menu to bring you the best steaks in southern Utah.
made reservations a week in advance and the table we were seated at was the only one that has the sun shining into your eyes as the awning isn't big enough to shade you (bad). Waiter acted like this was the first time the sun has ever shone and said he could not do anything about it (bad). We informed him that he could stand right there and block it from shining into my wife's only good eye. He then came up with a portable coatrack and placed it by my wife to block the sun (good). Service was "good" up until we were served our fondue appetizer. It had carrots, apple, stale bread cubes (good) celery and broccoli (bad). Before we ate our first bite we were served our dinner salad (bad). Steak (ribeye) was served on a hot rock. It had been cooked a little on one side and flipped before serving at table. I like my beef somewhere between fighting me for my salad and medium rare. In about one minute I took my steak off the hot rock it was served on and it was cooked fine for me (good). It had been extremely over salted in the kitchen (bad) but not a bad steak. Wife had pork chop cooked in kitchen and it was very good. Hot rock is just a gimmick like other cook-it- yourself steak houses, teppanyaki Japanese, French flambé or Hawaiian luau. The difference is they all use trained cooks except the hot rock and other do-it-yourself steak houses. Looking around me there was no more than couple customers I would trust to cook my meal, but everyone was working at cooking theirs. After our entree, table was cleared for desert. We had dark chocolate fondue. It comes with marshmallows, strawberries, grapes, rice crispy cakes, pretzels (good), some apple diced smaller than the grapes (bad) and a wedge of cheesecake. They served only fondue forks with dessert and left you wondering how to eat cheesecake with a fondue fork (real bad). If I were to go here again, I would order the meat cooked on grill as they do have good cooks in the kitchen and avoid fondue. It reminded me why I threw out my fondue pots 30 years ago. The bill without drinks or tip was 95.00. Higher than prices shown in trip advisor (bad).

We absolutely love The Painted Pony! Every time weâre in town (which is fairly often since my parents live in the area), we always come here for their well-above-average fine dining experience. The decor is charming, comfortable and a little unusual, but in a good way. And the service, oh my gosh, the service is always top notch! Never ceases to impress us just how attentive, polite, and well-trained the entire staff is: hostess, bus boys, servers - it doesnât matter who, they are all wonderful. And truly, we have never had a bad (or even average meal) - theyâve all been truly great! I really donât think you can go wrong with anything you order, itâs all so good. We had an amazing seasonal heirloom tomatoes salad there last, as well as the mussels and bacon wrapped dates for apps. All mouth-watering good! Itâs an amazing restaurant worth the visit! Your stomach wonât regret it!

The Egg & I St George, Utah breakfast restaurant offers gourmet coffee, 100% pure-squeezed orange juice and a variety of menu choices you will enjoy time and time again.
Pretty simple fare, and highly priced. Coffee is more than coffee shops. Down thirty bucks for breakfast I could have made at home for five bucks or less. No waitress or cashier as they were all late getting to work. Late at a breakfast cafe! We wonât be going back. I hate to say an egg McMuffin would have outshone the plates we received.

Good food, medium service, medium kitchen. Not terribly friendly to eaters with allergies, but if you can eat directly off the menu the food is quite good. The ambiance is wonderful, inside or out. A bit pricey, but they serve wine with dinner and the whole experience is quite pleasant.
