Handcrafted delicious food with no preservatives, made from scratch with premium quality ingredients !
I wish Anthony Bourdain had visited Maxâs World Cafe. He would have loved it. Maxâs serves excellent, adventurous food from around the world. The menu is limited to greatest hits, but everything our group of four tried was fantastic. Two of us were disappointed that our first choice, Mung Dal Curry, wasnât available. The goat curry and artichoke salad we had instead were quite satisfying. The teen boy in our party said his pizza was very good. The seating area here is quite small, so we sat at a table in the kitchen. It was really hot and very casual, but it was nice to be able to give thanks to the chef. Two tips: be sure to check the menu prices, as this was ultimately pretty pricey, and be sure to order the amazing English sticky date cake with toffee dessert.

A great place for a lazy late weekend breakfast. Happily it was a short wait on this occasion but there are times you might wait 20-30 minutes for a table. After all these years they still produce consistently good food. Always love their home fries and biscuits with fresh raspberry jam. Great service too!

Probably the best pizza in Issaquah! We ordered the grilled romaine and a pepperoni pizza to share. Both very good. I also ordered a classic Old Fashioned which was good as well. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Good, bustling vibe. Issaquah needs more casual dining options like the Black Duck. Leave the kids at home (it's 21 and over I think) and plan a fun date night here. Next time I'm going to try the burgers. They looked very appetizing!

The Flat Iron Grill Restaurant and Grill is a great steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Gilman Village in downtown Issaquah, WA near Snoqualmie and Bellevue, WA. We have a full cocktail bar, wine bar, extensive wine list and beer on tap. Brunch o
Good primary waiter, although some secondary servers were a little surly, I thought. Steak was tasty, if a little tough. I would go back because it's close and fairly quiet with seating for fairly large groups.

From the moment we entered this restaurant we were treated like a King & Queen. I was in the mood for some hotcakes but settled on Swedish Pancakes that are really crepes. They were light, done just right, with the correct condiments, and just absolutely perfect. So much better than having some heavy pancakes. I ordered the two eggs, with bacon, and the crepes. It was the perfect breakfast! The service was exceptional and I felt like I was eating in a friend's kitchen. That's a difficult thing to accomplish and it's something I really appreciated.BTW - if you feel comfortable with giving me a helpful vote I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

We have been going to this particular location for the past several years. In fact, it is one of our go-to restaurants when friends and family are visiting. So it was no surprise that our daughter wanted to go there for her birthday dinner. We have always gone there for the food - local, healthy and good portions. The quality has always been great. The calamari appetizer is one of our favorites. However, it was a far from pleasant experience this time. Their kids meal comes with a bowl of fruit. When the fruits arrived, we found that one of the grapes had white fuzzy mold all over it. We asked the server for another bowl explaining that this bowl had mold. It got really weird after that. The server examined it carefully (at our table) and then took the bowl over to the manager who inspected it further. The rest of our food came out....and eventually another bowl of fruit. The server apologized and said that they had opened a new bag of grapes. I hope that was indeed the case. What was surprising was that we did see the manager a few times - he brought food over to the next table. But not once did he stop by to apologize. Come on - mold in a kid's meal is pretty unacceptable at any eating place. The bill came and there were no surprises. We paid the full price and our server made sure to not hang around the table too much. Not even the customary "how was everything?". When we were leaving, I told the hostess about the disappointing service - while I understand that the mold was not intentional, the least the manager could have done was stop by the table and apologize. She offered to get us a coupon for a free appetizer for the next time. I told her that based on our experience, there would be no next time!!There are lots of great eating places in Issaquah. One with moldy food and an unapologetic manager can be easily avoided.

Came in for Happy Hour. The appetizer was delicious and reasonably-priced at $11 during Happy Hour. There a 3% service charge. Not sure why-emailed restaurant afterwards but 3 days no reply. I don't know this is new for Issaquah. I have not seen this anyway else yet. I know Seattle puts these extra fees-that is why I don't go to Seattle often nor patronize restaurants there. Good service should be rewarded and should not be automatic because some some restaurants and bars have bad service and bad food.

Our specialty is steak! We buy only corn fed, Nebraska raised beef. The finest beef available anywhere. We then either dry or wet age our beef, depending on the cut, for a minimum of 28 days to ensure that famous flavor and tenderness found only at JaK's.
Very busy place on a Monday night!! Our service and food was good. Nice evening with friends. Had a pepper steak... yum. Great green beans too.

Went on a Sunday, late morning. There was about a 30 minute wait to be seated, and few people turned away. Breakfast is served all day and lunch after 11:00. We had the diced ham and eggs, egg, has brown scramble, buckwheat pancakes that were light and fluffy, and good coffee. Smaller place than Sammamish Cafe, with friendly staff. Portions were big. Will be back again.

We drove from Seattle to see Snoqualmie Falls and stopped here for lunch. It was a Saturday, so they were also serving brunch. Glad we found this place as we were unfamiliar with the area. We got lucky and highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Several of us had trout and it was very good. We got in just before it got really crowded. Service was good and food was very good.
