Comfy atmosphere, great bakery and coffee. Nice place to stop and visit. Friendly staff too. It's fun to see what different concoctions a new place has.

Actually 12 miles north of town. An old standby for hunters in the area. Typical UP bar with adjoining dining area. Lots of stuffed animals that have been here for years...can be quite interesting. Limited menu, but typical for an area bar. Good fish fry on Friday. Decent burgers. Usually decent service. Good prices.

Our A&W is a standard, basic place where we love to go. This is a local family owned business, and their service is friendly and consistent. The food is good, served hot, with generous portions, fairly priced. There is an indoor eating area, which is quite small, or else the girls bring your order to your vehicle. Limited to a summer season due to our long, cold winters. Hop in your car, come as you are, to A&W!

We came on Mother's Day and although it was busy we were seated very quickly. Our waitress Brandi was excellent, quick, and anticipated our needs (soda refills, etc). They had a buffet which had my mom had and said was very fresh and hot. I had an omelette which was great. The workers were really running around working hard. Giving it 5 stars for what it is-a diner. Don't expect gourmet food but well prepared diner style food and you will be satisfied!

Dropped in after white water rafting. Ordered the half turkey lettuce and tomato with French fries and the Clubhouse with fries. Really good bread and the sandwiches were loaded. Love the fried with the skin on them. Our server was super friendly, happy. Fast service and easy to find.

My husband and I are fans of diners and down-home non-chain eateries, and we're not at all hard to please. Service was curt - they sat us (in an empty restaurant) right by the kitchen door - and non-existent when we were looking for the check. Food was unremarkable, my husband had breakfast and I had a simple sandwich. All in all there would be a lot they could do to earn the reviews we saw online.

We sat at the bar place was packed. Bartender immediately came over. So many beers to pick from and decent wine also. We shared a pretzel that had a great beer cheese dip. Burgers were excellent and cooked to our temperature. Everything looked tasty. Itâs very loud as itâs a sports bar.

My wife and my 93-year old Mom joined me for lunch at Spiros. The food was delicious, we just did not challenge the kitchen staff too much. Half-sandwich and soup, plus a couple beverages. My tuna melt was very good, the girls loved the french onion soup, but the tomato bisque was the best. Food a little slow coming to us, but we were first seating of the day. Would love to try dinner sometime.
