See what the Colonel's cooking at your local KFC. Stop in today and enjoy our world famous chicken - it's Finger Lickin' Good!
We live 50 miles from this establishment but it is on the way home from Corvallis so we stop occasionally. EVERY time we've stopped the order has not been done correctly. This time we ordered a chicken in a bucket MEAL which should have come with a large mashed potatoes, large gravy, large coleslaw and 4 biscuits. SHOULD have looked before we left the store and didn't. Got home with our bucket of chicken, mind you this was to feed four people. What we got was a bucket of 10 pieces of chicken. We ordered all dark original which meant legs & thighs and we got 2 breasts instead of thighs. They can't seem to tell the difference. One individual size container of potatoes & gravy, the kind they serve in the snack boxes and one snack size container of coleslaw. no biscuits, no condiments, 4 napkins. Thank goodness I had some mac salad in the fridge and whipped up some asparagus as well. This counter person was not trained or knowlegeable about the KFC menu offerings. The chicken was good BUT if you go to this establishment check your bag before you leave, I mean take everything out of the box/bag and look in the container of chicken to be sure it's what and how many you ordered and that you got everything else you were supposed to get before you get home to see they didn't give you what you ordered.

I finally explored Monmouth main and the Western Oregon campus. The latter is an exquisite, old school ivy and brick, university with charm and erudition. Along the former, I discovered Crush Wine Bar. The venue is Victorian store front outside, with an airy, polished wood charm inside and a venerable, old and charming bar ruling the dining room. The wine list is varied, with several selections and the menu is light and tasty. I finished off a turkey caesar wrap with relish (and a second glass of chardonnay) and there were also sandwiches and pizza to choose from. The owner was engaging and a good source of information about the university and Monmouth main. So, take a turn off 99W and drink a bit of golden life at Crush Wine bar!
The only reason this got more than 1 star is that the service was friendly. But the restaurant is dirty. There are years of old pieces of old poster tape on the front window that need to be removed. The chair was very wobbly. The greasy smoke made it difficult to stay for very long. The food was typical frozen and then fried. The chocolate shake was pretty good. They have a great opportunity but need to improve the space.
Hi gang, This is a review on the golf course, not the restaurant as I only patronized the golf course. Adding to my growing list of courses played here in Oregon I stopped at Oak Knoll for a round of golf. Got senior and military vet status discounts (thanks for that !!), friendly staff and greenskeepers. Paired with a coupla other first-timers today we were immediately compromised by the lack of cut fairways. I mean two of us hit it down the middle and it took a full 5 mins to find one ball and the other was not to be found. The course is laid out in a âvalleyâ type configuration, flat with minimal water to worry about. Thatâs where the fun ends. We saw mowers out there, but too late for us. I managed to play one ball thru 13 holes before âun-findingâ my ball. Lost a ball on #14 and #15 and spent a full 20 mins looking for one playerâs golf ball 30 yds short of #17 green !!! This is unacceptable. Iâm sure theyâll get the mowing caught up soon, but why didnât they warn us ?? We all diligently watched very shot only to search again when we got up there.... A good golf day spoiled by lack of timely maintenance. If you stop here, I hope youâll have a better time than we did.Rich
Ordered a Blue and saw that the ice had black specs and a horrible film in the glass and in the drink itself. Ordered chicken wings and they were ok I thought until I was puking my guts out a few hours afterwards. I accidentally also left my tab open after I left along with my credit card and returned the next morning. They charged me an extra 15% since I left my tab open. Quite funny since this place is horrible and they justify charging this to us locals is ok. F- If you want a great bar/staff go to Chase Bar & Grill at least they know the meaning of cleanliness.
This is a very interesting establishment. Small, quaint and lovely. They can only seat 19 people at a time but that makes it even more enjoyable. None of the food is food service supplied. All is perpared on site from scratch. Expect to see entrees you will not find anywhere else. They also are capable of meeting almost dietery need, just ask. Reservations are a must, especially on holidays, book ahead by at least 2 months. They do not serve supper except for a special pre arranged reservation.

Our most recent visit to Chase Bar & Grill was for the purpose of ordering food-to-go, although we have dined in several times. The hamburgers are delicious! My husband ordered his favorite sandwich, "The Royal Irishman", always delicious, and I ordered one of their wraps, the "Chicken Bacon Wrap", for the first time. Wow! It was a very generously filled wrap with lots of yummy chicken and bacon! Every order is made fresh, so you might be prepared for a short wait, which is well worth it!

The waitress was attentive, but the food was just average. Nothing spectacular. The salad came with all the vegetables and lettuce separated on the plate instead of being cut up and mixed together.

Went here for breakfast. Place was jam packed. After eating understood why. Our waitress never wrote anthing down and I substituted. Our oders came out perfect. They continually filled our cups. Had the Italian omlet. Largest one ever seen. Crammed full. Enough hashbrowns for 2 0r 3 was on my plate. You can rest assured if ever in the area again, it will be my number one stop

This restaurant has a lot of class in its atmosphere and the food is great. They used to provide compostable take-out containers but for some reason have reverted to styrofoam. The poor choice of takeout containers detracts from the classiness of this establishment and a quality experience for the customer. This is a cafe in a beautiful older home with period furniture and art. Styrofoam take-out containers aren't consistent with the 100 year old atmosphere of this historic house nor good environmental values.
