We've visited Knotty Pine on several occasions and the food is consistently superb. The Chilean Sea Bass is flavorful and cooked perfectly. In fact, everything is cooked perfectly. The steak on the sampler platter is the best I've had anywhere. The greens are deliciously bacon-y (and I normally don't love veggies). The etoufee is packed with delicious flavors. Even the opera cream cake comes out warm and moist every time. I've never had a bad meal here, though things can get a bit spicy. If you can't handle spice, some things can be substituted (like getting scampi shrimp instead of the ones in hot sauce). The servers are usually quite attentive and polite. I recommend reservations if you're going during dinner time.

We are a full service restaurant. We offer Catering and have a private dining room for groups with less than 50 people.
This restaurant has been around for my entire life and has become one of my favorites in Northern Kentucky because the food is so darn good. It specializes in home-cooking and offers good old Kentucky favorites that are hard to find these days. Among their best items are Kentucky Hot Brown sandwich, Hot Slaw and Goetta (a Greater Cincinnati specialty more than a Kentucky one, but it is awesome). They're homemade pies and soup are also renowned. Prices are reasonable, too. I take friends in from out of town so they can taste real local food. They always love it.Thank you for taking the time to post such a positive review. All to often we only hear the negatives. We appreciate you!

Like their comfort food they serve, they are back. Lunch crowd was crazy and they welcomed customers back. Plate lunches were flying out of the kitchen. I am glad to see another mom and pop business returning. I have made business lunch plans for two weeks. My boss took me so i am taking business friends to share. I hope we keep them in business for aloooong time. Go for it and make your day.

We enjoyed our dinner here as we celebrated my mother in law's 81st birthday. First, I have to say, Jasmine, our server, was THE best! She was attentive and friendly. We all got the fried chicken dinner that came family style with all the sides. It was so delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy!! The sides all complemented the chicken. We love coming to The Greyhound Tavern but tonight seemed extra good. Thank you Jasmine! We will be back soon!!
We always used to sit in the 'bar' section of the restaurant and I don't know what happened but this place has really gone downhill. We used to go all the time but it just kept slipping. For example, on a couple different occasions our waitress/bartender completely FORGOT about our order. We placed the order and it just never came. We went back again and the same thing happened. The wait-staff seems more interested in chatting amongst themselves or with the 'regulars' but not taking care of customers. But even THAT is not my complaint: the food has gotten horrible. Over-micorwaved food is what it all tastes like. Our last order of Wings were hard as rocksand not edible. Pretzel's still frozen in the middle. Soggy flat breads. Our last order was garlic and chicken flat bread and we could have eaten it with a spoon. (Had we eaten it.) They never run any happy hour specials and a night there has gotten too pricey for what you get in return.
We are a family owned business with great pizza, chicken, burgers, fish and hand cut fries. We also have an attached yogurt cafe with varieties of flavors and toppings! Check us out on Facebook at yolospizza in independence, ky
This place closed several months ago:( The owner was super nice, but this location totally stinks. I hope they find better luck with their next business venture.
They moved into the old bulldog/day care/angelos location. Food is the same (recommend the hawaiian fajitas). Service was the same - which equals not great. Its not usually busy there, but sometimes it seems forever to see a staff person. It's cheap, beer cold, food good so we'll be back anyway.
Skyline Chili restaurant chain. Famous for secret recipe Cincinnati-style chili & fast, friendly dine-in & drive-thru service. Serving Cheese Coneys, Ways, Greek Salad & more great-tasting food since 1949. Locations in OH, NKY, IN & FL. Grocery products a
The workers here are so nice. I've been through here many times and not once have they forgotten any of my good (unlike the other restaurants around it) they always give me frackers, straws if I order a soda, napkins, etc. they always wear clothes and it's very clean. The only thing is they charge you different prices for the same thing every time- depending on who's working. But other than that this is a very nice place to eat. I highly suggest it.

Crewitts Creek Kitchen & Bar is proud to provide the best food and service in Independence, KY. Whether you're coming in for dinner, brunch, or a few late night drinks, there's something here for everyone. Our loyal customers love our sandwiches, burgers,
This is a restaurant that serves down-home food with a twist. And what an incredible list of twists they have. Their fried green tomatoes, for instance, are served with onion-bacon jam, scallions and house-made remoulade. Their Spicy Battered Pickle Fries with sriracha ranch are the best I have ever had.Made-to-order mac & cheese is their specialty, and we were not disappointed. The Leonardo da Pinchi was loaded with fresh lump crab, shaved Vermont white cheddar, cheddar jack, fresh tomatoes and scallions. I couldn't eat it all, and took the leftovers home. The names are also entertaining. Next time I'm going to try the Chris P. Bacon mac & cheese.Plus, they offer a full assortment of entrees, sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides that I am dying to try. I did save room for a homemade dessert â bread pudding prepared according to a daily theme. The restaurant isn't as big as its reputation so you should probably look for odd times to eat, if possible. You'll be glad you did.
