Located in Historic Downtown Huntsville, Commerce Kitchen serves Southern Gourmet cuisine in a bluesy bistro setting.
This tiny, comfy and nice restaurant located in the historic Huntsville offers great food mixing tradition with a touch of novelty that gives the kick that makes the difference. Gorgeous filet mignon in red wine sauce with roasted potatoes and green beans, superb coffee crusted New York strip with mashed potatoes and asparagus, honestly one of the best I have ever eaten. Then creme brûlée, exceptional, and a lovely espresso coffee bread pudding. We really appreciated the service, the food and the ambience. Parking lot at reasonable price just steps away.

My wife and I travel a great deal and eat in lots of restaurants from the very simple to the very high end. This restaurant was recommended in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, but definitely isn't great. Meatloaf was more filler than meat and the Chicken Tenders were overly fried which made the meat hard. The caned vegetables were ok. Justin our server was very nice.

New Orleans is only a stones throw away from the heart of Five Points in Huntsville, AL - it's called the Po Boy Factory.Jambalaya crawfish pie file' gumbo... you'll find your favorite seafood and cajun treats in a warm and friendly down home atmosphere.
Nice local vibe for informal lunch with fried seafood and a tasty muffalato sandwich. New Orleans decor to go with our seafood platter and shrimp entrees both with friesThe muffalato was as close to the NOLA original as hoped with fresh bread and a great olive spread. Go weekdays in the mid afternoon to avoid the jam packed lunch crowd.

We had reservations and had to wait. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Wine is all crazy expensive. Scallops were good. Hubs got the short ribs which were okay. Not a return trip kind of restaurant.

. Located in what appears to be a mostly residential neighborhood, 1892 East occupies an old house. The inside is cozy and quiet. I liked that. 1892 remains committed to serving fresh food, from local farmers to nurture and support the greater Huntsville community. Dining alone one night, I tried the stuffed rainbow trout. What I got was a perfectly pan-roasted trout, with succulent bacon and pecan butter that melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were perfect as side dishes. Excellent wine selection by the glass and/or bottle. Must visit for any foodie. Well done!

Stopped in after a hot afternoon and had the family with me. The crowds were here for a Saturday afternoon but the service was excellent. Even though the kitchen said no calzones after 3pm the recommendation was to have all the ingredients made into a pizza. Wow was that simple and great. The craft beers were amazing Great place for a Saturday afternoon.

My friend and I dined here on a Thursday night. We sat in the bar and had great service/recommendations from the bartender. The hostessâs, however, need some refining. They werenât impressed that we didnât have a reservation while there were plenty of tables around. The trout and wine selections that the bartender suggested were great. Excellent Brussels, too! Super food, super service, just need to work on first impressions by hostess staff. Nancy,Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and feedback with us! We will use this as a tool to further train our staff and improve our efforts. Again, thank you and we hope you will join us again soon!

Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation from local colleagues. The lunch menu has good selection at great value. The steak I had was fantastic, and the bit of seared ahi I sampled from another person's plate was incredible (never thought I'd like it). Service was great as well. All around a great experience.Thank you for reviewing Connors Steak & Seafood. We are glad you tried the Ahi Tuna and loved it!
