We came here for the review and was quite disappointed. The service was good but the food was average at best. The fried snapper was over cooked, the guacamole and chips (okay), the fish ceviche (Bla) and tuna tar tar (good). All in all, it was great to be eating in the air conditioned dining room during the hot day! We learned the chef has changed in the last 6 months, so that maybe the problem? Not exactly sure. But we ventured out a few steps down the block and tried Mar y Mar the following day. Marco & Maria holds their own with their family owned restaurant.

Ridiculous burgers lives up to itâs name, be sure to come with an empty stomach. The Jaco Burger in particular was unique and delicious, with a sweet flavor thanks to the plantain. Our server, Jared, was attentive.

One of my favorite restaurant's in Costa Rica's Central Pacific area of downtown Jaco Beach, the Green Room has always offered incredible specials for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. ONe of the best offers is their special 3 slider offer with 3 beer samples on Mondays for $10.50 tax included! It is a joy to behold when your waitperson brings it to your table, and your choices are endless. Highly recommended for their food, ambiance, live and music, and super cool vibes. Great prices on everything, including their large draft beer selection.

Homemade everything and excellent. The local coffee was very good. My boys were almost crying with enjoyment from their cinnamon rolls they had for breakfast. And my wife and I kept it simple but delicious. We went here twice in the 6 days we were in town. Actually, we tried to go a 3rd time, but they weren't open yet. So we went to a competitor and that was great too. Separate review! But if we're ever back in Jaco, we'll be back at The Coffee Shop guaranteed!

We took the family to this restaurant for our evening meal. From the start this felt like an American bar with baseball playing on the large screen. Perhaps this is the intention but a little disappointing when you are in Costa Rica.The service was ok but regrettably our starters of mozzarella sticks were still frozen on the inside. We sent these back but the waitress never apologised in fact she seemed a little upset that we had mentioned it. We got fresh hot starters but an apology would have been nice. Otherwise the food is regular American cuisine, burgers, faijtas etc.This is ok but not for a special night out.

Came for their special. Ribs were tender but still with some toothiness (critical to a southern rib critic). The sides were simple but never took away from the star -the ribs. Wines by the two half bottles just right, and from Argentina and Chile were perfect balance to the spicy flavor of ribs. There were enough ribs left for several meals, which is a huge bonus to me.
