There is no doubt that this place has outstanding burgers. Just as many reviewers have stated, these may very well be the best burgers in Sonora. But it's just too American and transplanted and plastic for my liking. It's loud and graphic and childish. I guess I'm just getting old and grumpy. But the marketing gimicktry of this place spoils the excellent food.If you are a teenager or not grown into your 20s or immature in your 30s, you can like the place. But if you're an adult, be sure you take some kids with you to enjoy the place. I almost felt like I should be leaving with a balloon tied around my wrist and plastic dinosaur in my pocket.

Pistones Food & Drink Garage(R) is an extraordinary place where the food is delicious, the mood is lively and the prices are reasonable. Inspired by automobile history, Pistones(R) reinterprets american cuisine in a fun atmosphere that reminds us of a cla
I am talking about the Pistones branch on Blvd. Colosio. This its a place to chill, and have a good talk with friends. The atmophere its relaxed and everyone seems to be having a good time. The place its decorated like a cars-workshop. Their specialty are the burguers and the micheladas, and they have good deals almost every day of the week,Personally, I have tried the nachos, pancho villa burguer and the panini(i dont remember the name on this one). The pancho villa burger was well combinated and tasted very good, the panini was very good too but a little greasy. Also, there is a large selection of artesanal beers.I like to come here on a thursday after work to take a beer,or maybe on a relax weekend.

J&R Ribs Costilleria is a small casual restaurant that specializes in slow cooked, fall off the bone baby back ribs. Our menu consists of baby back ribs, an organic salad and home cut fries. We also offer a selection of three in house salsas: Raspberry Ch
There are very few options for ribs in Hermosillo. La Huesuda on Reforma is the only other option with which I am aware. J&R's is *far* superior to their competition for the following reasons:1) The food. Their ribs are consistently spectacular and their array of sauces are more numerous and simply better. The ribs at La Huesuda are also good, but not consistently so. There are times when they're just bad. I have never had this experience at J&R's and I have eaten at both places more than a dozen times each. Also, the sides are much larger at J&R's at twice the size of what you'd get at the other place.2) The price. You get much more food for less money at J&R's. Clearly they are making an effort to compete with their competition. It's almost seems La Huesuda is unaware that they have a far superior restaurant in which they are competing for customers. My wife and I get a rack of ribs and two enormous sides AND drinks for under $200 pesos (roughly $16 dollars at the time of this writing). You will pay over $300 pesos on Reforma and you will get less food. 3) The service at J&R's is *really* unusual. That is, the service is excellent. You rarely experience great customer service from any restaurant in Hermosillo. By American standard, it's absolutely horrible. They just don't seem to get the link between good service and an increased profit margin. But that's changing. And that's why places like J&R stand out. As frequently as I have eaten there, there has not been one exception to the exceptional service they provide. They clearly are trying hard to get your business and in my opinion, they deserve it. What's even more impressive is that the owner is not from Hermosillo. Getting a manager to pull off something like this remotely is something I know is extremely difficult. They have hired the right staff. Great job!
