Group of 4 wanting a typical meal. My chicken strips were dried and tough. Fries were clustered together like they were still frozen in place. I think somebody needs a little more training on shaking the fry basket and serving FRESH chicken strips - not strips that have been sitting out for a while. Restaurant was not busy for a Saturday evening.
We stopped here after visiting the Creation Museum. We took it back to our hotel and had a good supper without having to go out again. We like their subs and find them a good alternative to a burger.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
This place is next to the hotel where we were staying. Bored with hotel breakfasts, we walked over to Cracker Barrel. Cordial hostess seated us. Our waitress was also a very pleasant gal with excellent customer service skills.I had a typical breakfast, two eggs over medium, three strips of bacon and their loaded hashbrowns. (I passed on ordering the grits,) The eggs and were fairly standard. The bacon thick and cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were an abundance of flavor. I mean really, how can you go wrong with hashbrowns with cheese? Very tasty side dish.Overall, very good food, great service, all at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for? Well done!

Me and my friends go out once a month on what we call âburger nightâ. We order only burgers and beer mostly. We went out in the limb to check this place out for its burgers. I have been there a couple times before but for something different. Fish sandwich during lent. I found that sandwich very good. But I tell you their burgers are excellent. Good sides as well. Not huge selection of beer but certainly sufficient. This rates up there with only a couple of 5 star burger places we have been to. Check out this place fire burgers u wonât be disappointed.

I just can't begin to explain the disappointment of trying something that "COULD'VE" been great. The classlessness of its manager, Amy Arvin, must be indicative of the bad food and service reviews. This place has gone WAY DOWN HILL...rest in peace, Hebron Brew Haus. Please call it quits so we have room for something brilliant and exquisite to this town!

I walked over here from another nearby hotel and had a nice glass of wine and a delicious salad, both of which arrived really fast. The salad had greens, apples, candied pecans, cranberries and blue cheese with a raspberry vinaigrette. It was huge and only $11. Loved it!

We needed a quick dinner before our flight home so took the exit before the airport to see what we could find. Decided on Longnecks, very large on the inside. A very large bar area, TV's everywhere with all sporting events on. Not many people were there, a few at the bar area. A little skeptical but we were on a time crunch so stayed. Was a little put off that the floor seemed dirty and a pile of stuff was just sitting there, no reason for that since the place was not busy. Basic food, lots of fried items and pizza. The pizza came in 2 sizes, the smaller size was perfect for 1 person, pizza is pizza just okay. The chicken tenders, standard fare with french fries. The licking river fish sandwich was a huge piece of fish with potato chips, was good. And the bourbon glazed pork chops were tough, the green bean side it came with looked like green beans you would get out of a can and heat up. Not the best meal. Probably should have gotten to the airport and ate at Outback!

We wanted to enjoy some local Kentucky cuisine on our vacation so we chose the Tousey House. The restaurant is in an old house which is in great condition. Parking is limited but there is a free lot across the street. The interior is nice. You can tell that the building is old, but it is kept up nicely. The tables have linen table cloths. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was good. The complimentary bread was delicious. For appetizers we ordered the beer cheese and the Goetta egg rolls. Both were tasty. For our entrees we ordered the fried chicken and the Hot Brown sandwich. The chicken was amazing. Genuine authentic southern, dare I say Kentucky fried chicken. It was so juicy and delicious. The Hot Brown must be a local thing because it didn't do it for us. The meat was tasty, but the combination with the cheese, sauce and meat just wasn't to our liking. The food is pricey. This was a pretty expensive meal. Overall it was a good experience for local cuisine.

We sampled a bit of everything! First, it's like walking into your own living room. The staff is friendly. It's family owned and they treat you like you are part of their family. The portions are HUGE. We had the gator bites (you have to try them!). I had their specialty salad with chicken and their signature white barbecue sauce was fabulous. You can buy a bottle (and I did!). My companions had the meatloaf. Both of them are finicky but they loved it. They ended their meal with the pretzel bites. All of the food was top-notch. The price was very reasonable. If you're in the area, you have to try this restaurant.
