We went in for a late lunch, itâs a very interesting place with really quirky decor and lots of historical photos.The pizzas were absolutely first class and so large that we took half home and reheated them for dinner - according to the waitress thatâs normal!

This was our first time at Black Diamond Cafe, which was recommended by a coworker. My lasagna was great, but they messed up my wife's order. She was supposed to have the angel hair pasta with salmon, with the wedge side salad, but they simply served her a huge wedge salad. So, what she had was fine, but not what she ordered. She also ordered the baked Brie and she loved it. It had a delicious berry sauce topping that included cloves (tasted like Christmas on a plate--fantastic!! I also had the peanut butter ice cream pie--it rocked...definitely enough for two. Overall, the food was great just service was a little off tonight. With that said, they did take 50% off for missing my wife's order up. We'd definitely come back!

We went to this place twice. The waitress called Katy (I think) was lovely, very friendly and told us what to do in Denali. We had pizza both times and were not disappointed. They were happy with us sharing the food. Great service too.

We had a delicious meal expertly served by Mallory. The bacon-wrapped scallops were delicious, and the fish entrees were great. You'll find a nice assortment of salads and entrees -- not just fish. This restaurant is a bit off the highway, but worth the short drive. While only open for the season, this isn't a tourist trap. It's a wonderful, peaceful dinner with excellent service.

Rose's is a roadside cafe in a small town 11 miles away from the tourist traps near the Denali Park entrance. If you are looking for decor or fancy food, you are in the wrong place. Think diner,truck stop, greasy spoon, etc. There is no true dinner menu, so expect burgers, sandwiches, baskets, and breakfast all day. I have been through Healy a number of times over the years, and always make a point to eat here. Service is friendly, food is excellent, and portions are large. You might even get a little local color, as this seems to be a local favorite also. If ordering breakfast, subsitute as pancake for a side and get a pancake as big as a plate. Prices are reasonable for the area. Highly recommended.

Most of the restaurants in Denali were closed and we were delighted about it once we stopped here. Itâs well worth the drive! My husband had the crabby grilled cheese which he said was the best sandwich he had ever had. I had the fish and chips and they were light and tasty. We sat next to the fire which was nice on a cool day. Take the time to visit this place; it was some of the best food we had in AlaskaThanks for dropping in, appreciate the review! I also love our King Crabby Grilled Cheese, the crab is locally sourced from the Bering Sea and so delicious! Hope to see you back in 2020 for more!
