We ate in the area they call downstairs, but in reality this section is the restaurant and the upstairs which is just up an inclined hall is the bar. Anyway, we were seated right at five and the waitress was pretty prompt about taking our order. She brought our salads and bread in a timely manner. Thirty five minutes later she came and said our order should be up in a few minutes. She said they got backed up. Really, we were the first ones in the downstairs restaurant and if they cook for both the upstairs and the downstairs in the same kitchen they have a problem, because we checked out the upstairs bar area first and there was only two gals sitting at the bar. Not sure why it took over forty minutes to get our food, but it was pretty good when it did arrive. Also, the price for my steak was a little steep for the type and quality.

My sister and I had a great lunch here last week. The restaurant was immaculate- including the restroom. We both had BLT's that were delicious and made with crispy bacon as we requested. Char was our server and she was welcoming and very efficient. I have ordered whole pies here in the past- the banana cream pie is wonderful. I enjoyed my lunch very much. Thanks, Char!
I stopped by here with my family for lunch. The atmosphere is great and everyone was very friendly. The menu has a very large selection of good sandwiches and there is something for everyone. The Lunch Box is a charming classic sandwich shop with funny jokes and puns in the many. There are also soups and salads. The service was efficient and helpful as well as very friendly and kind. Overall we had a really nice meal.

Don't go here expecting to eat healthy, that's just not what they do. But if you're having one of "those" days, go give yourself a cholesterol overload. Home of the "ugly burger," a worthwhile option. & any drink (pop) concoction you could ever think up!

We had such a good dinner here. Mediterranean Bistro is a little old-fashioned---in a good way. My prime rib was excellent. The sides---salad and various kinds of potato--- were generous and delicious. The dinner was a very good value. Our server could not have been more gracious and helpful. One of the children in our party was really hungry, and the server and kitchen bent over backwards to bring him his dinner ASAP. I would certainly be happy to eat here again.

We were in Havre for a class reunion and were SO happy to find this place! They actually use healthy ingredients in their cooking. We were missing quality vegetables. The owner and his son were so cordial and friendly. When we return to Havre in 3 years we'll definitely be back to Spud's. I wish I had looked at TripAdvisor the very first day of our trip! I understand why it's rated #1. Excellent food and service is what counts to us.

Read the reviews and most were good. My husband and I ordered the two specials- chicken fried steak with baked potato and minestrone soup ($14.99)and rib eye with 5 shrimp, baked potato and potato soup (24.99). Soups and baked potato were good. Waitress said chicken fried steak was made in house and recommended it but instead Chicken fried steak was chewy and grizzly and rib eye was thin and just okay. Was disappointed in our meals. Wish we had ordered something else.

Fifties style diner that is family friendly. Fun atmosphere with jukebox and fifties music. Homemade soups, buns, deserts, and chili. Hand dipped milkshakes. Hand pattied burgers. Catering licensed and available for large as well as small gatherings.
We were recommended to eat here after having just booked the underground tours. We entered and sat down and within a few seconds a nice young man gave us menus and took our milkshake orders. He was young well mannered and super polite and personable.. Ordered foos after our milkshakes came and it was brought to us within no more 10 minutes. Food was ample and really delicious! Everything was homemade. The food was good. But the waiter was the best! He was such a nice young boy!!! Breath of fresh air! Highly would recommend!

We arrived in Havre around 2:00 and were starving. The hotel recommended Murphyâs and we are glad they did. The food was outstanding and the service was terrific. The home made chips/nachos are OUTSTANDING and I highly recommend you try this very unique dish. The rest of the menu is fairly standard fair but ALL of it is very well prepared and extremely tasty. You canât go wrong!!!

Grabbed some coffee and baked goods for a meeting in town while on a business trip. We showed up just as they were pulling the day's cinnamon rolls out of the oven, which looked heavenly. We also got an assortment of cookies. This bakery is the only one in town open before 8 am.
