Hometown restaurant favorite with casual dine-in, carry out and drive-thru service. Fresh, cooked-to-order menu includes the famous Big Boy Sandwich, hand-breaded onion rings, family dinners, extensive breakfast bar, homemade soups, desserts and breakfast
Took my grandchildren 12 and 9 to Frischâs the other night for dinner. Was very disappointed by the time we left. My grand daughter ordered the 4 pecan caramel drizzle banana pancakes. She got 3 and no caramel! Waited forever for server to return, she was done by then. Had to ask another server to please get the fourth and caramel drizzle. Finally got pancake, still no drizzle. Then my turn, fish and chips! Only not like picture, was two frozen fish patties with dry broccoli, not even warm. Salad bar ok. They do have great blue cheese dressing. Whole experience was just not well. Everything felt dirty. By the time we left we felt just plain gross, for lack of a better word. Not sure I can return any time soon! Might have to do drive-thru for original Big Boy burgers only. Canât even get vanilla cokes anymore because they switched to Pepsi!! NOT the same. Miss the good âold days!!

Ever since the Evans family sold the business, the new owners have turned it into just another restaurant chain. Where Evans kept it unique with their entrees based upon their pork products, the new owners have moved away from this and into mediocrity.Even though we eat here occasionally, this unit has never been stellar. Personnel turnover seems to be a problem which bleeds over into the service and food quality. Never seems to be the same people when you come in - tends to turn you off. Food is nothing special, service is average, prices about average - now you know why we only go in when I need a chicken pot pie fix. They haven't offered a Farm Boy sandwich in years - so who cares.

In search of somewhere to get food late at night, I ended up here. Had traditional wings, buffalo style [which, to me, is traditional]. They were great. Served with ample blue cheese [with chunks] and celery. Also had very good sweet potato fries. Good find.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
Great atmosphere. Staff were all very friendly. Food was cooked perfectly! Louisiana Sirloin was the best steak I have had in a very long time. Manager was visible circulating and checking on patrons, as well as lending a hand to the servers.

On a new eating plan, carb free, so choices get a little boring. This was a great treat!! Got a Chicken Log which is basically a healthy ckn burrito with no tortilla. Pile of fresh salad veggies I would have NEVER put together and it was delicious! Cute, cozy eclectic decorated little bistro atmosphere with front side walk or back porch options for dining as well. Friends loved their choices too. An amazing Pesto Sauce! On Broadway downtown Lebanon. A must try!

Had a hankering for some Skyline cheese coneys so stopped by this branch late on a weekday morning. The lunch rush hadn't started so there were only a couple of other parties in the place - indeed had the whole area on our side of the dining area to ourselves. The server was quick with the dish of crackers and, as we knew what we wanted, took our order. Our cheese coneys with everything and soft drink soon arrived and were, of course, great as usual. We were in and out in less that 20 minutes (yes we were hungry), so were pretty satisfied with the food and service.

Stopped in for some breakfast on our regular long distance drive. Sat down and had a hard time ordering. Waitress having a hard time understanding my wife's simple request of eggs sunny side up with no running whites. Food came, she claimed cook had to cook eggs more than once and eggs still had runny whites. My food was cold or even moderately wa to say the least. Waitress not understanding our problem but still took it back to the kitchen. Manager came out not to say he was sorry for inconvenience, but to find out again what we really wanted. I expressed again that my wife wanted her eggs now over easy so no issues and that my food to be hot. I expressed I was not happy to lose time. I would not have stopped if I knew we wouldn't have normal service. He still did not believe food was cold. The food came out hot and we finished the 1/2 and had to get back on the road. Waitress still oblivious what eggs sunny up no runny white is. She said one ever ordered it. Well I am sure the cook also had never cooked it either. Such a disappointent.

Two of us met a friend here for lunch. We ordered a variety, a hamburger, a salad and a bowl of chili. Everything was good, including the service. When we are back in town we will come back.

We had breakfast here recently. This place is small but friendly and the food is delicious. They have all your basics...eggs any style, meats including goetta, and a serving of fried potatoes that is super generous. I had a pancake as a side. My husband says that this place and its menu reminds him of the cafes in Cheviot where he grew up. We want to come back for the famous double decker sandwiches. If you are in the area, you need to give Nick's Restaurant a try.

This nicely repurposed space is right downtown Harrison. Large inside, yet the tables did not seem crowded. The menu is large and incldues items not seem often, like liver and onions. The crab cake appetizer was very nice. The potato soup was excellent. The haddock was huge and very tasty. All items were good. Service was steady. Prices were about average with entrees in the $18-26 range. Worth a second trip.
