This was our first visit since new owners and chef took over. We're so sorry we didn't come sooner and can't wait to return. The online booking was easy with friendly text reminders to confirm. It was very busy on a beautiful Saturday night in October and they were turning people away without reservations, so we definitely recommend making one. Our server Bailey was outstanding- fun, helpful, perfect timing, made us feel very welcome. The menu was varied and interesting, using local sources. Good wine menu by the glass or bottle with lots of local choices. The squash soup was heavenly. We all loved our entrees (swordfish, pork loin, steak). I actually loved the kale side even more than the meat. The portions were just right- we all finished our meals satisfied, though probably should have taken some home (it was just too good to quit). The dining room decor was very attractive and although full the room was not too loud for conversation. We were too full for dessert but a plate of cookies was a very nice ending. We were bid farewell by staff who all seemed to really care that we had a good evening. H'port has several good restaurants, but this one will now be one of our top choices.Thank you so much for such a glowing review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and had the opportunity to try out the restaurant! We take great pride in all that we do at the Park Inn and we are so happy to hear that your experience was wonderful. We look forward to seeing you again in the future! :)

The Cafe is now closed for the 2019 season! We will reopen the third weekend in May in 2020. The Blue Heron Cafe at Heron Hill Winery takes great pride in using only the freshest and high-quality ingredients, and incorporating locally-grown produce when i
The Blue Heron Cafe is a good lunch option while visiting Heron Hill Wine Cellers. Good selection of apps, as well as soups, salads and incredible sandwiches. Enjoy a glass of Heron Hills wine, or the amazing grape juice, along with your lunch. We started with the chhese and charcuerterie board, whoch was HUGE! Generous portions of ham and salami, as well as, 4 cheeses, honey mustard, grapes and french bread. We actually would have been satisfied with just the cheese board, but had also ordered an incredible furkey, bacon, cheese panini which came with a choice of side. We opted for the zucchini pesto pasta. Everything was delicious! Reasonable prices and noce wait staff. We chose to sit outside where we could see the lake.

Casual eatery located on the west shore of Keuka Lake. Featuring two full bars & two restaurants serving everything from shrimp tacos to filet mignon.
The setting is spectacular & the service was over the top. The calamari & charcuterie Board was very good. The main courses were okay and lacked a zip in flavor. A couple of friends had undercooked halibut. Not a lot of âbar foodâ options (a burger/fries).

Boated ourselves over to the SwitzInn. âParkingâ was hard. Not much room available. We were seated immediately (eh, table for 16, please). Considering our group size we were served with swiftness and with a great waitress, who didnât see an issue with 10 kids! She was super nice. The food was really what I wasnât impressed with. Yeah, bar food type, but it just wasnât quality. Burger was just eh and my sons asked for spaghetti with sauce and according to sons tastes like ketchup. Oh boy. I hate to write bad reviews but we just didnât like the food. Maybe if we sat at the bar for drinks, I may have a had a different experience.

We had a large party, they seated us immediately with no problem. I went with the pulled pork sandwich. It was tasty and barely managed to finish it all. Everyone else in our party seemed to enjoy their food too. There are great views of the lake.

The atmosphere outside and the view of the lake and the servers were lovely. Roasted beet appetizer was pretty good. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and really enjoyed it. However, I had the fish tacos, and they were quite the disappointment. (Grilled fish slipped into the wrong type of taco with little additional filler).

We loved the excellent service and ambience at Pleasant Valley Inn, which was recommended by our B&B in Pleasant Valley. The seafood tower dish was very good, but it was quite expensive for what we received. There were lots of local wine and beer options.

We havenât been here in two years, yet the staff remembered us. Dined in the Village Tavern for three nights, Friday through Sunday. Started each meal with 6 to 9 oysters on the half shell from Barnstable. Nice, large, and sweet. We twice had the caprese salad, four nice slices of tomato with thick slabs of mozzarella. Great, but could have used a tad more basil. This will soon disappear. One night we split the Ahi tuna with sesame seed, a thick 8 ounce slab, very thinly sliced, scrumptious. A Saturday special is prime rib. The small 12 ounce portion with garlic smashed potatoes was sufficient for the two of us. Very nicely prepared. We ended our dining with mussels Provençal. Well prepared, about four dozen in all with baguette. We sampled two deserts, butterscotch ice cream and key lime pie. Both were delicious. Another reason to visit is for the wines. Wines are reasonably priced and there is a nice selection of older Dr. Frank vintages. Service was excellent. Live music on Friday and Saturday. Make a reservation.

The US Census says that 630 people live in Hammondsport, NY. For a tiny little tourist town, this is a really nice dining spot! The place is charming and quaint, they had nice beer, and our server was good. Mrs. K loved her pulled pork sandwich and I had a really good burger. I was warned that a lot of the nearby tourist trap restaurants are over-priced and underwhelming... we were steered here by a local and she done us good. Nice place. Go.
