We will be back, and we will try you again, based on our 1st two visits. However, on this third visit we were very underwhelmed. Maybe because we got everything to go?The Pizza: It was as bad as it used to be when it was called Trio's. We found out, after the fact, that you were short a pizza chef. Please note: Trio's NEVER had good pizza, so if you're using thier style when it's crazy busy it's a bad move. By the way - The pizza sauce should NEVER be left out on the counter by the door. It must have a steady/maintained temperature. And it shouldn't be left unguarded.The Sandwiches: Skimpy and the Corned Beef was Cold-cuts; not real Irish Corned Beef. It was fresh, and a good grade of cold-cuts, but they were still just cold-cuts. I could have gone to Weiss and gotten my meat sliced there and made my own sandwich. A signle slice of rye bread was twice the thickness of the contents of either sandwich: The Reubin, and the Corned Beef on Rye. It was almost as if the meat that should have been on ONE, was split between the two - - - and first the chef pulled out a couple of slices. It was a SKIMPY sandwich. The Chicked Wings: Were plump, fresh, moist and wonderful. Still 1000 x's better than backdraft. These were fantastic wings!!Suggestion: Since I have eaten there twice already, I know how large and good your sandwiches are. So.... If you're running low, don't cheap out. Just tell the customer you were out, or tell us if there's only enough for one sandwich. We were told, on the phone, there was no more Irish Dip Sanwiches left and we accepted it. But if you've run out of real corned beef, don't switch to cold-cuts, and then skimp on the meat for the sandwiches.(Or I hope you're not taking that "It's Take-out, so it doesn't matter" tact to business.)I apologize for your experience. You are correct on the pizza issue...no excuse and we take pride in how delicious our pizza is....this was addressed! As far as your sandwich, skimpy is not satisfactory. However, our meats are NOT deli meat. Our chef roasts everything in house and slices. I will I quite as to what happened. No excuse....I have spoken to all and they did have a response....everyone has a bad day at work....my response....not here. And no, we do not take any adjectives of our service as âit doesnât matterâ. In fact, take out should have EXTRA care...there is nothing worse than getting it home and it being wrong or not what was expected. Thank you for letting us know and we will make every effort that it doesnât happens to anyone else.

Private Dinning has it's Perks. The Hideout is a Planned/Secured Community of over 3000 homes on 100's of acres and one of its amenities is it's Lodge/Restaurant. Why badges?Like any other community, there are Property Owners Fees. These fees help subsidize the over-head to all of the amenities, including the lodge and its restaurant & bar. As an owner, guest of an owner or as a renter you are issued Passes & Badges. If your payments are not up to date you can not use the subsidized amenities - including the restaurant. And why should you be able to get a discounted meal here if you have not paid your dues?? You Shouldn't! So bring your Badges (Owner, Renter or Guest) and you'll have a great meal at one of the two sides of The Lodge:The Bar: It's on the right-hand side of the Hostess Desk when you walk in. The set-up is simple and Pub-like. It's a well stocked, well served, well poured bar. And not just "Well Drinks" plenty of top shelf to choose from. The bar itself seats about 14-16 people and stands an additional 20. Then, within the bar on the other side of a low partition, there's tables and chairs to seat another 40 people or so. In addition, in the Spring/Summer there are another 6 or 8 tables located on the deck.At the tables (inside or out) you'll get full service for food & drinks and the menu is pretty large for a "watering-hole" near the golf course. During the day you get a lot of duffers and their wives, and in the evenings you get a friendly crowd who come to enjoy the live music and/or play darts.You need to be 21 to sit at the bar, but kids are welcomed on the Pub Side of the partition. The drinks are well made and not watered down. However, it's a "community gathering place" and you WILL be cut-off if need be. And Yes - you DO need to present your badge upon entry and perhaps again when ordering.The Restaurant: It's on the left side of the Hostess Desk. The large room, which can seat about 150 people and is usually set-up to serve about 75, looks like a typical (yet very clean) 1990's catering hall. Mute colors, blah (but fresh & clean) linens, a few scattered non-descript pieces of art work dot the walls and neutral drapes - which are generally drawn and block a fantastic view of the golf course.While the Décor is bland, the food is not. The food is always fresh, well prepared and served at proper temperatures. Some of the selections are straight out of a Catering Hall Selection Chart, the food is much, much better. Aside from 'expected entrees' there are some other very nice selections & combinations on the menu. You can also choose from the Pub Menu at NO extra cost and there are always specials. My choice is always one of the specials. There generally are what they claim to be - Special. You can tell that the manager and/or chef put in a lot of time to plan and execute the specials and they are, as it should be, limited.The wait staff is often young and live in the community but don't let that stop you from asking questions. There are quite a few Sr. Patrons and some dishes are prepared for that in mind - not too spicy, not 'overly seasoned', not too much salt/pepper. Ask your server. If you do NOT like to add your own seasoning after being served - which I do NOT - then make it clear that you are looking for some of the chefs more 'flavorful' dishes and you won't be disappointed. If, however, you are nursing an ulcer, have a weak stomach or just like simple food prepared in a simple way - JUST ASK. You will be accommodated.The portions are large by restaurant standards and it's not unusual to take home leftovers. At one time each table was given a bottomless bowl of salad & dressings. Now a more reasonable salad is provided so you don't fill-up before dinner. However, BRING your badges. Both in the Bar & Restaurant: You'll have a huge selection of Appetizers and Side Dishes. You can even make meals with varied combinations and they won't mind - in either location.Note: Lively Music in the bar- sometimes even live. And there's "piped-in" background music in the restaurant.Note: Tips are NOT included on your bill or in your POA Dues, so please don't forget to tip your servers.Note: Bring your badge - just one per table/check - and don't be insulted if your servers asks for it.

Some chain places are all the same, while others are different from place to place to place. Here in Lake Ariel the M.D.'s serves their food better than most. It's ALWAYS hot, always fresh and there isn't too much of a wait.If you're going to do Fast Food, and it's gotta be McD's - then by all means, this ia a good place to go.

We visited three times, once for breakfast and twice for dinner. My 11 year old grandson chose a burger over the dinner buffet the first time and regretted it as soon as I came to the table with my plate of dessert. We went back for breakfast, which was excellent. The French toast was especially good. The first time we went to the dinner buffet, the penne with vodka sauce and the eggplant were two of my favorites. The salad bar is good and includes shrimp with cocktail sauce and fruit. The dinner buffet includes a variety of selections for meat eaters and vegetarians. The desserts include an ice cream bar, a selection of brownies and cakes and an excellent cobbler. My grandson enjoyed the fried pork chops and mashed potatoes. We spend most of the summer nearby at The Hideout, so we will definitely be return customers.

They only take cash. But there is an ATM at the NBT Bank nearby so we went there and came back. We had soup in big mug bowls and we had the chicken salad and cheeseburger specials that day for lunch. The prices are very affordable the portion size is generous the place is clean and the staff helpful and friendly. They have a buffet on Fridays I have not yet been to that. But our lunches were perfection.

Friends took us to this BBQ place that is only open during the summer months. I had ribs and chicken with baked beans and corn on the cob, all very good and plentifully. There is some inside seating but the bulk of the restaurant was outside, nice people and great food.

I look forward to our annual ride for the outstanding BBQ. The chicken & ribs combo is wonderful. Their signature rib sauce is like no other.The line can be long at times but it does move along at a steady pace cafeteria style.I haven't been anywhere you can get 1/2 rack of ribs & 1/2 chicken pickles, slaw and drink for under 20 bucks!

Good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is a specialty with large portions. Coffee is good. The seating is booths, counter and picnic benches. The service was slow at 10:30AM on a weekday. One server, one bus person and one cook. The air conditioning on a relatively cool day was over the top - needed to be re-located. Will return for sure and hopefully a better experience for this local hot spot.
