Service was very pleasant, but only one person to serve our large group was not enough. She tried, but could keep up. The food was mediocre. Most patty melts were over cooked and flavorless, as was the turkey Reuben. The tuna melt was cold, and the cheese was not âmeltedâ. The appetizers were very good, however.

Stopped in for lunch. I had the chicken Parmesan salad, my husband had the Rueben & pasta salad. Generous portions at a fair price. They also have lunch and drink specials. I would definitely return when in the area.

If you're looking for a light bite or filling meal you can find it here. Caters to vegetarian as well. The caprese sandwich is great and the soups (there are a ton) are always fantastic and filling. Durng lunch rush you might have a hard time getting a seat so you may want to get it to go.

This place has the best house coffee!!!!! Lilly brand- I can't get enough of it.. Service is awesome.Love their omelette and skillets. Pancakes are light and delicious. The place is rather small so expect a wait during the typical busy times. The portions are quite large and they don't mind giving you a to-go box.

Very much impressed with this diner. Cozy little place (and I do mean little) in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Amazing food, at reasonable prices. Waitstaff incredible, especially Lexie, our waitress.Managed to take care of 9 of us, without skipping a beat. (Thank you, Lexie)All were satisfied and most of us took 1/2 home. Not only a great diner, also has a bakery within, with AWESOME desserts to buy!!!Below is info for diner, specials of the day, Southwestern Chicken and Rice soup, my order of Grilled Ruben Sandwich w/ Onion Rings, slice of Triple layer chocolate Cake. Then, a card with bakery owners store info, who also sells desserts in the restaurant. My purchase for home(next photo)is 2x2 Maple and Chocolate Bumpy cupcakes and a Lemon Bar. Fantastic food and dessertsThere is outside seating. Make sure you get there early at lunchtime. Great place for above average bbq ribs and chicken .not flashy newest intown fad but been here forever , predictable place . Good non- flashy service . Good strong cocktails .. we love it for thursday night " wanna go out for a bite but not huge deal"

Menu had more salads than Iâve ever seen in any other restaurant! Had the chicken fruit salad with poppy seed dressing & a side of sweet potato fries. Salad had banana slices, strawberry slices, mandarin oranges, nut, tomato, mixed greens, grilled chicken...delish. Fries were also quite good. Three dinners for another $40. Recommend.

We had my Husbandâs Grandmaâs funeral lunch there today, the manager Flip made it very easy to set everything up. When we got there, we all had drinks within minutes. The server was extremely friendly and efficient!! The food was good and hot!! All around it was a great experience and we will definitely keep this place in mind for future gatherings!!

Brunch at the Original Pancake House is always great. Always a line to get in but it moves fast. Efficient staff seats you quickly. Bacon and Cheese Omelette, Eggs Michael, Big Apple, side of bacon, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice provided plenty of food for the three of us. Consistent tasty food for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. A busy atmosphere with plenty of smiles from patrons.
