The service was above average. The food was bad. The mini lobster role was dry and not prepared like a New England Lobster roll. When we mentioned the dry taste to the server, she agreed. Then didnât remove the item from the ticket. Plus the soup was cold. The food was bland and over cooked. The vegetables were cold.Hi, Charles E. Original Roadhouse Grill features an authentic roadhouse menu and a down-home, fun lovin' atmosphere. You'll find peanuts served in buckets and peanut shells on the floor. Country music, classic rock and blues can be heard coming out of our jukebox. Bring
Great place with friends and their family, noisy but cheerful. Or you and your own family bunch. busy atmosphere, happy place. Server had a great attitude and was pleasant. food was tempting, and smelled so good. About the same as other restaurants price wise.. More of a laid back place for family and kids. Homestyle and great burgers and steaks.

Dee's features Long Burgers that are delicious! You can order them with all the trimmings or plain and they have a special sauce that is great. They also serve milkshakes that are some of the best. The restaurant is clean with fast service and you can also get all their food to go if you're in a hurry at the drive thru. Great place to eat!

...but dang their prices are astronomical for having such mediocre fare. We ordered the family style chicken fried steak for $16, one crappy coffee for $2.75 and one extra plate for $1. It was great to see my hubbles face when the chicken fried steak was placed in front of him, but it wasn't the best he'd ever had which kind of popped the impressed bubble. The most disappointing part was the barely browned hash browns and the portion size had been cut in half since my last visit. Sad because I fondly remember that meal. We won't be back...just not worth it for the shock value.

I love the way coffee is served. It makes me feel special because of the special way it is presented. And, if there are any homemade pastries left from the morning's supply, I try them and have always liked them.

We visited with some locals who dine here regularly for lunch. The menu was rather limited, but the food very good. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, while training a new waitress. The food was good and ample. We really enjoyed the ambience of this dining venue, within the Edgefield Hotel, a very old former Poor Farm. The wood motifs and antiques of the restaurant were quite pleasant. The sprawling facility with wine-tasting, a ballroom, a pool room, and outdoor entertainment venue was really interesting. I was told that this is typical of the McMenamin developments.

Steaming hot coffee with a Dutch baby with berry topping is a wonderful way to start off the weekend! We each sat in view of the warm fireplace on a cool temperature day. The contrast was delightful. The booths for seating were comfortable and the atmosphere was quiet.Service was attentive and friendly.Elmerâs is consistently tasty and the comfy atmosphere makes a combination that keeps us coming back!Morning Judy,We truly thank you for your feedback and are glad to see you've enjoyed your visits to Elmerâs. Serving amazing breakfast and lunch all day, everyday! We have great specials and even better bloody mary's. We host private parties at night. Seasonal Patio Seating and a kid's play area. Recently remodeled.
Had a vegan breakfast which tasted pretty good & food was warm when it arrived. Husband enjoyed his biscuit & gravy breakfast too. Only one complaint (his); their coffee is very weak. He carries extra Starbucks packets for necessary 'rescue' missions. Sweet Betty's staff are always friendly and attentive; another plus that's unusual in a 'diner.'

Went here for my sons birthday, been back a number of times. Food is fantastic. Lots of different choices and something for everyone in the family. Lots of different choices. Love the atmosphere. We usually try to sit outside and enjoy watching people walk up and down Main St. Waitresses have all been extremely nice and friendly.
