Six of us had dinner at the Cotton Patch....perhaps I just ordered the âwrongâ dish. The Chicken Fried Steak was overcooked, very chewy and served warm not hot. Sides were âfairâ.Having said that, those ordering steaks, catfish and burger were pleased with their dinners. Next time Iâll do the steak or catfish.Our waitress,Joanie, was great. My husband and I ate here based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor and are so glad we did. This is a small âMom & Popâ place (you can see the ownersâ wedding pictures on the wall if you look hard enough) that is off the beaten path. Itâs small, not fancy, and you may have a wait before youâre food is ready, but it is so worth it! We were seated immediately but told it might take more than 20 minutes to get our food because a large group was ahead of us. We both had the Chicken Fried Steak. It was delicious and the portions were huge. Make sure you order the Sweet Corn Hush Puppies and the Banana Pudding!

I loved the Volvo burger, hubby had the Cadillac burger which was average. Fried jalapeños are good. My son ordered the Single Tailpipe (chili cheese dog), which can be ordered as single or double. He was still hungry so I asked our waitress, Christine, if he could get another hot dog and change his order to the Double. For some stupid reason she could not do that and instead ordered a whole other single with chips and all. I would have liked to talk to the manager, but we were never approached by one to check on our meal and hubby just wanted to get out of there.

Enjoyed breakfast on the square with family- 7 in all, this morning. Food came out in a timely fashion and was well prepared. Coffee was strong and hot. Service is mostly behind the counter except for your prepared food when delivered.We enjoyed it and will return.

We have been eating Sunday breakfast at the Firehouse cafe for about five years. Lately we've noticed a change. Where as we used to receive our breakfast before we finished our first cup of coffee now it's almost always the second cup before breakfast comes. They seem to forcused on to go orders as was the case today. We could see our food in the window while they pa ked three to go orders. As a consequence our food was cold when we finally got it. No one offered a second cup of coffee and the order (unusually) was incorrect. My husband ordered three eggs and got two. He ordered green salsa and got red. My hope is they get their act together because there is one person in this couple that is not a happy camper.

I love the food at this establishment having eaten at a few different of their locations. This review is specifically on the location in Granbury. They have a great location which is right off the town square, which is fun place to walk around and shop, This makes Babe's a great place to detour from your shopping for great food. The chicken fried steak and gravy is some of the best. While others in our party enjoy the chicken and fried fish. The sides Mashed Potatoes, Corn and Green Beans and homemade, Hot Biscuits are what you would expect at grandmother's house. I will always recommend the food at Babe's. It is just that good. However we have been going to the location in Granbury for years, always stubbornly thinking it cant be as hot inside as it was the last time and sadly we are disappointed every time during the summer. I cant speak for all however I cant enjoy my food (no matter how good it is) while I am constantly having to wipe away sweat beads. Not having proper ventilation, this location tries to keep people cooled inside with oscillating fans on the ceiling throughout the restaurant. It simply doesn't do the trick when the restaurant is crowded. The food is truly good. I would just recommend you visit during non prime hours or outside of the summer months.

Lindaâs specializes in southern home cooking like chicken fried steak, vegetables, fried catfish and more! We enjoyed a delicious dinner. We had chicken fingers, catfish fried, & chicken fried steak. All of our meals were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! I would definitely go back anytime I am in Granbury! And itâs location right next to the Granbury Opera House makes it convenient too!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Eighteen Ninety Grille. I had the shrimp and grits with shredded crab added. My wife had the duck breast. Both dishes were outstanding. The only problem was that had to leave some on the plate. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered turtle cheesecake to go. Again outstanding. When in Granbury or for a special occasion go to the Eighteen Ninety Grill.

Our family, 7 of us, were treated to a New England Clam Bake at Christina's. Fresh Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Stew & Clam Chowder, a 1-1/2# steamed lobster, corn/potatoes/sausage/little neck clams, top of with an apple crisp. While not available on a daily basis it is an example of the unique aspect of this fine dining establishment. Fresh lobster rolls, salads and lobster Benedict are a daily menu option. All menu selections are beautifully presented and quality first class. French pastry chef on board, creme brulee outstanding.
