Nice size portions, reasonably priced and tasty. Hubby and "Sunday" Dinner. Meatballs were amazing. We learned the restaurant won a local award for their meatballs. Hubby said they were like his Mom used to make! I had Trackside chicken smothered in sauteed mushrooms, onions & peppers seasoned just right. Our waitress (Autumn) was delightful and very attentive. We were parched after our long road trip, and were able to relax with wine and appetizers. Restaurant was clean, nicely furnished and within walking distance of our hotel and several other hotels. Nice to find this gem. Highly recommend.

Had dinner there with family other night. Had read the reviews and was looking forward to it. The place is very modern and open. No crowding of tables and the service was excellent. Drinks spot on although a little pricey. Was looking forward to the Delmonico steak with mushrooms. The steak came done to perfection, medium rare and was very tender. But whoever cooked it was extremely heavy handed on the salt, so much that I couldnât eat it. Thought it was the mushrooms but it wasnât. After a few bites, informed the waitress of situation. Instead of offering me a new steak, or comping me for it, she decided a free desert would satisfy me! After spending $27 on a steak and getting a $7 desert, obviously I was not pleased. For a restaurant with high praise, this was not what I expected. I know I should have asked to see the manager but for whatever reason, I didnât and now regret it. May go back at another time when in the area.

Love this restaurant!! The chicken salad is huge and full of fresh ingredients. I prefer to get the chicken grilled and ask for less sauce on the chicken. They are always happy to accommodate special requests. The loaded chips is a tasty appetizer that easily feeds four people. Probably not the healthiest option but very tasty.
Firstly I'm a truck driver and have visited many Waffle House's in this country. They are all good, but what makes this location great is the staff. The first shift features a very special waitress named "Miss Debbie" always happy and attentive to the diners needs but, if you take the extra time to visit with her you'll find the special side. Also the third shift staff are very good, I'm not too sure about the second shift. This restaurant is in Ohio on I80 exit 226 (Salt Springs Road)

If you're not a local and are travelling through Girard, you would never guess this windowless building behind a pair of windowless black doors would house anything that you'd want to expose your children or grandparents to, but once inside you'll find that the atmosphere is surprisingly family friendly and the food is good. We came from out of state to a rehearsal dinner that was held in the back room. On the menu for this dinner was a barbecue chicken pizza that was very delicious. The brownies were equally good. I would gladly come back here just for those two items if I ever found myself in Girard again.

Since 1975, the Iron Skillet Restaurant has been cooking up fresh food served by friendly folks. From our hand-cut steaks to hand peeled, fresh mashed potatoes, to the Best Buffet on the highway, you'll see why professional drivers vote Iron Skillet their
Great truck stop/greasy spoon, right off 80 and Salt Springs in Girard, with decent menu options and buffet food that will DEFINITELY stick to your ribs. Rarely an issue, if at all, and the place is clean and well kept. The buffet on this trip was fully stocked, for the most part and everything was fresh. A few items could stand to be a bit hotter temp wise but good overall. Our server, Kim, was great, friendly and accommodating. Now, that being said, the other 2 servers on duty, Gina and another with a dark hair, Bob cut and glasses (both in blue shirts and not happy people) lowered the score from a four since we don't expect to come out to eat, even at a truck stop, only to hear those two whining and bemoaning about working there, the way the sections are split and just overall, needless lamenting ON the dining room floor. WHY can't you take that off the floor, away from your customers? It's unprofessional and disrespectful and we don't need to hear your litany of complaints nor how you feel "things should be run". We're there to eat, not watch a hillbilly episode of Maury. Other than this, we make it a point to go back every few weeks and have only been disappointed twice over 18 years. That's a pretty good trade off, if ya ask me! Note: if you are coming here expecting "Tavern on the Green" quality, you'll be sadly disappointed. But every now and then ya just gotta have a couple plates of good ole heavy, truck stop food!

Scenna's is a small family type restaurant. The original owner opened it around the 1950's, it was called Rudy's Snack Shack, which was shortened over the years to Rudy's. It has a collection of local clientele and is a nice segway between fast food to fine dining. The food is more of a home cooked fare.

Real NY deli, terrific sandwiches and platters
Was interested in the Friday fish special-fried haddock. This meal was delicious !! I started with the clam chowder-it was excellent !! The fish was very good (and large)!! I enjoyed the haluski and especially the Pierogi !! Thereâs a bigger menu than I expected-lots to pick from.

Jib Jab is my choice location for super fast, extremely economical food. The location is safe and friendly. It does get busy but they always seem to serve you in a timely fashion. Drive thru services are available as well as sit down and walk in take out. The food is good and service is good.

Restaurant was recommended by our nearby hotel desk attendant. Read some reviews and walked over. You just dont expect in Youngtown, Ohio to find such an excellent seafood main dish.....but the shrimp scampi on the surf and the turf was one of the best main dishes I have ever eaten anywhere in the world.and I am not a shrimp fan! Food heaven!!! Tender moist juicy shrimp in a garlic butter or cream sauce.....delicious. It was accompanied by tenderloin beef medallions in a red wine sauce with mushroom caps. Add the tasty garlic mashed potatoes. Great meal!!! Wish I wasn't just passing by on I-80. Next trip through, I will be back!!
