Reba's Emporium is an Ice Cream and Fudge shop offering famous Blue Bell ice cream, homemade fudge, and other delectable sweets! The sweetest thing in Giddings!
Very reasonable lunch specials. They have the best pizza in Giddings and the Reuben sandwich (known as the "Dirty Harry") is to die for. The Bonnie and Clyde gets you a half order of two items detailed on the menu, great for lighter appetites. When you're finished you can get ice cream and or fudge in the adjoining shop
We were headed to Round Top for a day of antique shopping and decided to have breakfast on the way. We found Elvira's in Giddings from reviews and wanted to give it a try. It is located just north of downtown and has a lot of off street parking. When we drove up we were slightly put off by the nondescript look of the outside. It does not look like much but a plain building. Once inside we found that the restaurant was very clean, light and welcoming. The staff greeted us, showed us to our seats and took our drink orders. My wife ordered an omelet and I ordered Migas. The server suggested that I make them Migas a la Mexican, which I did. My wife thought the omelet was excellent and I thought the Migas were among the BEST I have ever had. I am a beginning Spanish speaker and the owner even gave me several suggestions and several new vocabulary words. Gracias. The whole experience was wonderful.
We arrived at about 8:30 pm, and they closed at 9:00 pm. When we arrived there was nobody ahead of us, and the place was pretty messy. The trash cans were literally overflowing. I am attaching a photo. The sandwiches were good and up to subway standards.

Stopped in to get something to go. I got steak on jalapeño burger. Bun to die for. Steak real good. Got a side salad off salad bar. Got a sample of every thing all very good & fresh. Plan on trying breakfast and bringing friends for lunch. Server super friendly.

This is a very small Buc-ee's, but it still has several gas pumps. The food is not great and is overpriced, and they are very proud of their Buc-ee's merchandise. It's best to just gas up and go

Down home cooking at its best. Had there chicken fried steak and it was so good. The prices were really reasonable and there was a lot of food.

Today, faced with a light schedule and craving some smoked sausage, I made one of my periodic pilgrimages from Bryan, Texas, to the City Meat Market in Giddings, Texas, where I had lunch consisting of smoked sausage, potato salad, and beans. This was an excellent meal, so much so that I brought home an additional three pounds of sausage. The City Meat Market is nothing fancy, but the folks there are friendly and the barbecue is outstanding.

This place has great food lots of room and the portions are big and the price is small for what all you get. A must place to eat and worth the trip if you are out of town.

On our return from San Antonio we stopped in Giddings Texas for lunch and opted for a local spot instead of a fast food chain. Rebaâs was pretty slow on this Sunday afternoon but it was clean and we enjoyed having the place pretty much to ourselves. They have a large menu of sandwiches, soup, salad, and pizza options. My husband and I had the Popeye pizza with spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and garlic on a chewy hand tossed crust. We really liked it. My parents had the supreme. It was tasty as well but watch out for the jalapeños. You donât usually see those on a supreme. Rebaâs is worth the stop if you arenât in the mood for Tex-mex or fast food. Hey Kim! Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, and we so appreciate you stopping into our establishment! We believe that going local is always a great option ;). The jalapeños sneak up on you sometimes, so we will make sure that we tell customers that when they order it. We hope to see yâall again soon! From all of us at Rebaâs, Thank you!
