An eclectic winery and restaurant on the famous entertainment strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio's first Summer Resort. Located with a view of Lake Erie, the large, meandering patio provides the setting for nightly summer entertainment. Lots of special eve
We (two couples) had lunch at this restaurant by defaultâ¦.literally every other restaurant in Geneva-on-the-Lake is closed on Tuesdays in September. Since âthe seasonâ is over, there were only two other groups there at the time. We ate outdoors on the patio. Maybe because there was no crowd, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. All four of us thought the food to be excellent. Two of us had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. We thought the sauce was one of the best we have tasted. The others in our group had burgers, which they also liked. When we return to GOTL, we will definitely return to the Old Firehouse Winery.

Came here for a couple for quick beers. It's one of only 4 surviving shooting galleries left in the US. It has a fascination history. Oddly though I was the only person here, where everywhere else had lots of people. The Jamaican bartender was very friendly. I'd come here again for a beer definitely.
Stopped for a Lemonade and a corn dog. Corn dog either was slightly under cooked or just needed less batter. At least it wasn't burnt to a crisp and did taste good. My wife had cheese on a stick. It was Swiss cheese deep fried in corn dog batter. Would of course been better if mozzarella as she said it was a bit bland tasting. Lemonade shake up was best she's had on the strip. I would recommend trying them out.

A rough little joint like many others on this strip. I did a bar tour and we stopped here twice. The prices were extremely good especially compared to where I come from. Insane the price so low for draft beer. Basically a place to drink more than eat I thought. Lively for the size and friendly.

My wife and I like to stop by here and have a beer when we are in town and enjoy the view, have noticed the last few times it's been lacking service and cleanliness, outside....inside looks clean and have never eaten inside so can't speak about service inside. We arrived at outside bar, not busy at all maybe 7 people, ordered beers, received beers and waited for 15 minutes for bartender to return so we can order food. Waited while she stood behind bar and smoked and then she disappeared. We got tired of waiting so we walked over to deck hoping a waitress will speed this night along a little. Service was better until both of our waters had bugs in them....we asked for another and then the waitress proceeds to tell us "we are outside after all". REALLY? Then you drink it with bugs in it..... are you kidding me? I know I'm outside and a bug is to be expected every once in a while but don't give us attitude and defend bugs in our drinks, please just replace.food was ok, average. Not pleased with the cleanliness of deck and lower deck was filthy...again I know we are outside but they can be blown off every morning with a blower or something, takes ten minutes. All in all, I will not eat here again, may stop back for a beer but it will not be draft, bottle or can only.

Wanted to have a nice breakfast before heading out of town. Because this was a Sunday it consisted of your average breakfast bar items. The omelette station was included which served hot fluffy ones with lots of filling choices. Waffles were hot and soft. Crisp bacon but the rest of the fill in items were just that. The view was nice along the shores of Lake Erie and room was nicely set up.

Established in 1946. Started in the late 1940âs by Mary Ferritto, Mary's Kitchen was literally based out of her own private kitchen. Just down New St., Mary would make special meals and sell them to the hungry tourists frequenting Buckeye Beach when it wa

I'm surprised that Eddie's has no reviews. It has been at it's location for at least 20 years and is outstanding in every way. Plus Eddie is just a great guy.
We visited Eddies for lunch during our fishing weekend and it was preTy average. Itâs a historical establishment, very popular but the burgers are pretty average. They do allow you to customize your burger at a condiment bar and offer quite a variety of toppings and condiments. If it all possible, sit outside in the rear thus avoiding the line that winds thru the inside seating area. The service was fast and the counter personnel were pleasant. The burgers freshly cooked but seemed to lack flavor.

The other night my husband and I came in, we ordered Scallops, beef ragu and a shank. The food was amazing. The wines took forever to come because the bar was packed which is understandable. Our server was absolutely wonderful! We hoped for a better view but Iâm glad we sat where we did, During our meal we overheard a man who may have been a manager threaten to slap one of his employees upside the head. Before even making this review Iâve seen many people complain about the owner/manager being rude and arrogant and itâs an absolute shame nothing seems to be done about it. After hearing that i donât think weâll ever come back.

I was at Geneva on the lake for the beer crawl, and just happened to walk by Sunrise cafe. They only serve breakfast which was perfect for me. Walking in the place was packed. There are only 3 tables and maybe 8 seats at the counter. Luckily I found a seat at the counter open. The atmosphere is awesome ! Itâs like a comedy show going on. The food was great and coffee hot. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back =]
