Reviews on American food in Geneseo, New York, United States. Geneseo /ˌdʒɛnɪˈsiːoʊ/ is a town in Livingston County in the Finger Lakes region of New York, United States on the far south end of the five-county Rochester Metropolitan Area. The population was 10,483 at the 2010 census. The town and surrounding area is quite rural. The English name "Geneseo" is an anglicization of the Iroquois name for the earlier Iroquois town there, Gen-nis-he-yo (which means "beautiful valley"). A village of the same name lies within the town's western portion. The town is known today mainly as the home of the highly selective State University of New York at Geneseo.

This Applebee's is no different from any other. However, there are some good menu items, servers are eager to please, and meals are served promptly. People seem to enjoy the sports bar section of the restaurant. There was also a weekly trivia night at one point, but I don't know if that still occurs.

Comfortable waterfront restaurant at the north end of Conesus Lake ⢠Fresh locally-sourced food ⢠Dock-n-dine ⢠Takeaway catering ⢠Indoor and patio dining with an amazing waterfront view.
We came in and got seated right away. Serving time wasnât too bad but when our order came - wasnât complete. I never did get my side of coleslaw. Had a burger and fries no offer of ketchup. Ordered another drink 10 minutes later still hadnât arrived. The manager came to ask how our meal was told her about the drink dilemma she did give us s free drink. Waitress never checked to ask how the meal was. Offered us ketchup after I was dine with my burger. Brought the bill and never offered us desert. First and last time here. Food was great too bad service wasnât.

Four of us came on Easter Sunday to have a quiet dinner. The place is homey the food is decent. Apps were very good. Our entrees were plentiful though seems pricey for the area imo but that's fine. Server was pleasant for most of our dinner till the end. Never got a thank you, or a smile when she returned the change from my husband's 20% tip. To top it off - ignored us as we filed past her on the way out, not so much as a good bye, thank you, come again, have a good evening. Lol well ok I hear you loud and clear! we won't be coming back here due to the rudeness and it was our 3rd time but no more.I would like to apologize for your poor experience at our restaurant. We take our customers opinions very seriously. I would appreciate an opportunity to earn your business back by sending you a gift card for another meal at our restaurant. If youâre interested, please send your mailing information to [email protected]. Thank you for your time and input.Brian Simmons Owner/Chef

Family Owned and operated serving Livingston County for over 25 years. Lots of homemade choices and open 7 days a week.
At the head of Conesus Lake, one of NYSâa Finger Lakes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday brunch is great and reasonably priced. Has an outside patio for the warmer weather. Menu has a nice selection of various types of food: entrees, salads, sandwiches, burgers. Nice fish fry on Friday nights. They also have speciality nights during the week. There is also a full bar.

We stopped here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The service was good, and they were really busy. Our orders came out correctly and quickly. The portions were large and everything was good. Will have to come back for lunch to check out more on the menu. Would definitely return for breakfast.

While it didn't look like much from the outside, the food more than made up for the looks. Two of us split the full rack of St. Louis Ribs and 2 sides, and took some home. Great sauce, cooked very well. Had garlic green beans, salt potatoes, fresh made potato chips. Service good. Lots of funny signs inside for great reading and humor. Seemed very popular. Good family style food. Kids menu, cagering avaiableWe are happy you enjoyed your experience with us! Thank you for your feedback! We look forward to serving you again in the future.

Ok, this sounds nuts, but we drove 1 1/2 hours to eat the best subs ever. We made a day trip and visited shops along the way but after eating my sub I would drive this drive again to eat the BEST SUBS EVER. We donât know what the magic is. Cold cuts are fresh, but nothing out of the ordinary, condiments are normal, the choice of roll is Italian roll with or without sesame seeds. Could the secret be that They warm the rolls . Iâm not sure, but trust me you will enjoy the BEST SUB. ever...

My husband and I try to go weekly for their wing night and sit at the bar to eat when Chris is bartending. Great beer selection. Amazing service. Been trying different options on the menu and nothing has disappointed so far.
