We normally love Cracker Barrel restaurants but this one is a complete anomaly for its poor service and atrocious prices. We were completely ripped-off. Four pancakes one Sausage Pattie and half a glass of milk was $17+. All served in a very off handed manner.Weâll never return to this branch of Cracker Barrel: a Absolute disgrace.

Unlike other sports bars/pubs Iâve been too, this place has FRESH food. Fresh ingredients, freshly made. The food wasnât drenched in grease with everything tasting like French fry oil. Food was made to order and tasted great. I had a chicken wrap and the person I was with order the fish and chips. There are numerous big TVs around to watch your favorite sports teams. They featured daily specials and great deals on beer and adult beverages. There was a cornhole tournament the night I was there. A fun, laid back, casual atmosphere.

Country-style Southern food, served right. You can come for breakfast, brunch or lunchâthey close at 3 PM, so that's all. Lots of selections here, eggs, omelets, sandwiches, sides, they serve many âGot to be NCâ items, including their highly acclaimed âREAL BISCUITS.â feature NC âFresh Cookedâ and âMade to Orderâ Breakfasts served all day until 3:00pm (closing). They have several Daily Lunch Specials, prepared fresh and served from 11am-3pm with a choice of one Meat, two Vegetables and a complimentary Dessert of the Day. They have a special banquet menu for private social events, parties, meetings, etc.âyes you can have your wedding reception here! *(after 3 PM, of course)The place is very popular, with lines out the door, but don't be dissuaded, it moves fast and they'll get you in soon. Meanwhile, look at the collection of vintage farm implements. Prices are an excellent value, and service is as friendly as can be.

I've had Big Ed's before and it's good, but it's typical breakfast diner food. Greasy, but good. This time we had our daughter with us and she was treated so well. I was very impressed! I think they even included a free applesauce for her. Knowing how well the meal went with her, we'll definitely be back in the future!

Was advised by a friend to take my wife (seafood lover) here for lunch. Best advice yet because my wife is very picky about seafood quality and me the price of it all. We were pleased to find all we were told was true. I had shrimp combo, large portions and wife had bone -in- croakers also very fresh large portions with drinks less than $20.

Located in downtown Raleighâs historic Victorian Dodd-Hinsdale House (circa 1879), Second Empire combines history, atmosphere, exceptional service and gourmet cuisine for an unforgettable dining experience. Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern features our
First time to this lovely restaurant. We had no plans for our 31st anniversary- maybe dinner at home but decided to celebrate by making the reservation and surprising my husband when we got there. It was recomended by a friend. I ordered the seafood paella which was full of delicious seafood. Had enough to take home for my lunch the next day.! My husband got the stuffed pork chop. He said it was cooked perfectly. He wasn't so sure of the hominy ragout- he wasn't sure what it was. I thought it was great. Finally we shared the carmel bread pudding with ice cream. Yum! So glad I made the plans rather than wait for my husband. We felt very special that night at a special restaurant.Thank you!

I quite like this place. I've been there for lunch three times now with girlfriends. I always have the mushroom cheeseburger with onion rings.

Left Atlantic Beach, forced evac for Hurricane Dorian, got as far as the Garner Hampton Inn, easy walk to the Simple Twist for dinner. Sat outside. My hamburger was superb. Wife really enjoyed the Mexicana Rice Bowl. Great Red Oak draft. Did truly taste like a farm to table restaurant.

Serving traditional Southern breakfast and lunch, from 5:30AM to 2:30PM, Monday thru Saturday. Come on by, bring the family and enjoy some great Southern cooking!
This place has the best staff!!! They are friendly, fast, friendly, efficient, friendly, professional.Their food is great and I have been many times and have never been disappointed. My favorite meal at Angies is breakfast (try the pancakes or french toast) but you won't be disappointed at lunch either.Only open for breakfast and lunch you will need to get there early or you may wait in line 20-30 minutes but the wait is worth every penny.
