First time in Bear Lake and restaurant was recommendedWe were sooo disappointed. We had a variety of entrees. Hamburger with bacon, plain. They always ask if you want cheese. No, that would be a cheese burger. They forgot the bacon but did bring it out. We asked for a gluten free choice, some things on menu have GF next to them however they really aren't due to the sauces containing gluten. You can't be almost GF. Had to have plain chicken breast, with baked potato. The chicken breast arrived on top of the onion ring , gluten!!, that we asked to not have. Had to have it recooked.Two of us had the members feast. Once had battered fish and shrimp scampi and baked potato; the second had chicken pesto alfredo and fried shrimp. Battered fish and shrimp just bagged frozen food they deep fry, it was ok, both baked potatoes were cold and not cooked all the way or microwaved. Asked for new baked potatoes and they were good/ hot. Had to ask for more butter and sour cream as it was a tiny amount. This all took time away as the server never checked on the food. We had to flag her down. The pasta was terrible. The chicken tough and dry, the sauce just gross. Tried to eat a few bites but it was terrible. On top of that the wine I had probably had been open several days, the milk was sour and had to be replaced. Then just an irritating thing is when I asked what the side options are I was told to read the menu. Why not just tell me the 5 options you have. Rude.Not sure why people liked this place. There were just too many things badly done. Disappointed and have told the Resort that recommended it about our experience. Go to another place!!

We found this restaurant off the main drag it has a wonderful ambiance. Family owned and operated the people are fantastic. The food is wonderful my grandson really loved his animal platter of waffles. The prices are very reasonable and the people are extremely friendly. If you are anywhere around Garden City come say hi to Mike, Diane, and the crew. It was just like going home to Moms home cooking.We are glad you enjoyed Waffle Den. Hope to see you again real soon.

We went there for lunch and we ordered a large pizza for 3 of us and it was enough (average person) the pizza crust was amazing and the taste of the pizza was also yummy. Highly recommended specially if you want to get something to go and eat by the lake. Note: this restaurant opens on Sundays

Dropped in for a Saturday evening meal with 10 people. Just sandwiches and fries but it was a great meal at a reasonable price. Service was good. I will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed ourselves with our 3 little girls. They loved the whole atmosphere inside and out. The staff were very friendly and the menu had a lot of options to chose from. It had a great line of classic and local favorites. You can't go wrong here.

We were very happy to finally get a chance to try the Campfire Grill. It has a fun atmosphere on the side of the mountain with views of the lake. The menu had great options and everything we tried was delicious. We will definitely be back again.

Great raspberry smoothies and the pineapple whizz were both amazing, not too sweet.The hot dogs and chicken, pulled pork fillings are great, you get the bun with the meat and you put your own sauces on from a great selection. The atmosphere and decor is amazing with the beach and boat theme.
