Our company orders lunch from here at least once a week. Their regular items are always consistent & good. They have some very interesting & delicious specials. Desserts are good but pricey. Bruce is a very good employee - he knows people & calls you by name. You don't get that very often anymore.

We live in the area and have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Always came out and said we would never go back..just bad. Well, we did give it one more try and what a difference. Service was great and food was good. My Chicken Francaise was one of the better that I've had and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Linguine with clam sauce. What a big change! Hope it remains at this level so we can enjoy return visits.Thank you Denise for your wonderful review!! It was our utmost pleasure to serve you and we look forward to seeing you again soon. We do have new Managment and Chefs in place so you can enjoy our continued success. Look for our new menu coming soon.

My daughter and I had dinner here on a Wednesday night., I like to try chopped steak at different diners. It was very good here. The service was fast. Our waitress must have been new because she was very nervous but did a good job. The food was served hot And it was very well priced.. worth the trip.

This place does not disappoint. The coffee is fresh, the eggs are cooked exactly as requested, and the service was great and with a pleasant smile. Although this place gets busy late morning, we had no problem getting a seat right away on Saturday around 10am. A great place to eat if you are staying at the MarriottVacationClub. I will come back again. I recommend you try the Sunryser Country Store for a pleasant way to start your day!

Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. The restaurant, resurrected from an uncertain future in 1997 by the combined ef
Went here for my birthday in April, so decided to take Hubby here for his birthday last week. This restaurant is always a sure bet for good food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere. When you can get a window seat, you look out on the lovely Smithville property with the lake and ducks. There was a lunch special menu and I had the yummy quiche which was more the size of a piece of cheesecake with a bowl of fresh fruit on the side and pea soup. All 3 were outstanding and delciious. Hubby had the crab cake sandwich which was rich and full of crab meat. Our server was very attentive. The only thing to remember about Smithville in the summer, is that it is crowded with tourists and parking can be at a premium. Valet parking later in the day but not at lunch. There is a parking lot across the big street.. You can drop off a person and park and there is seating while your "person" can wait for you. It's a wonderful place to stop and have a lovely meal in a terrific and friencly atmosphere. Be sure to read the history of the restaurant on the menu.

Vicâs is a local staple in Absecon, offering the best subs and sandwiches around South Jersey. They use nothing but the best Italian bread, delivered daily fresh from Atlantic City. Vicâs uses high quality meats for their subs. The food is always consistent and delicious. The place is primarily known for take out or delivery. There is a small dining area if you would like to eat in the store, however you will have people standing besides you waiting to pick up their food. Vicâs makes very nice sub trays for parties. I suggest calling ahead to place your order for pick up. They are always busy!

Good stop when you're in Smithville, NJ. The grilled Swiss cheese and crabmeat was delicious. All of our meals were good (pulled pork, chicken wrap, soup...) and service was good! They serve a number of IPA's. It's casual dining and the prices were not bad either!

there is no way this place deserves a 4 star rating unless they have employees sending in reviews. service was mediocre at best, only 5 tables filled and dishes were very slow coming out. in addition, one was cool and one was terrible. seafood fra diavolo with 3 very small scallops and 2 shrimp wasn't bad enough, small amount of pasta and the worst, watery tasteless (not red, not white) sauce we have ever had in an "italian" restaurant. way over rated. definitely never going back there. the only positive note was the waitress was very pleasant.Steve, I apologize about your most recent experience here at Romanelli's Garden Cafe. I would first like at to state that we do everything in our power to ensure you have a great experience, I will most certainly speak with the managers that were working that night and I hope they were able to correct some of your experience before you left. I would hope that if speaking to a manager could change your mind about giving a second chance. We hope you could. Thank you for your constructive criticism.Thank you, Drew

The new location which is bigger is the only good thing I can say about this place. We just left having waited over thirty minutes for the breakfast to even come out with the waitress just disappearing every time we looked. They simply cannot handle the extra customers and the quality of the food shows it. We loved coming here for years but never again. Just keep driving past there are better places than this.

We always have a great time at M&S, started in the Bar Area for Happy Hour, moved into the Dining Room for Dinner. John was our server, he kept things moving, even though there was a banquet going on and everyone was really busy. I tried the Whole Striped Bass, strong and fishy, but I never had it before so I don't know if that is normal. Also, I felt it was a little overpriced at $39. My wife had the Trout, excellent, I helped her finish it. The cajun oysters were great and the caesar salad also. Overall, a fantastic experience.
