Had lunch here with my sisters. The menu looked very promising, but what a let down. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. We also ordered Onion Rings as an appetizer. The first thing that happen the dishes for the onion rings were dirty, I mean it happens. But the attention to detail is what will set a place apart from the average. The onion rings appeared to be hand battered. But were extremely greasy. Not sure I would reorder them. The chicken fried steak was ok. Nothing spectacular. The only thing that was memorable was the roll. It was very light and tasty. The decor was cute for a small town diner. I think the breakfast would of been a better option.

Glow is a tiny rustic seaside bistro in Rockport, TX. We strive to find the freshest seafood from Texas fishermen, gently cook it, and share our meals with friends in a relaxed setting.
Don't believe after you view the photo in the trip advisor of the fried seafood platter. The Glow is not your typical grease fried seafood joint. Sure it has a corn hole board out front, seaside atmosphere and seashack appearance, but you will find the most professionally prepared seafood in Rockport waiting for you. Service good, no wait, incredible chef and cozy.Great recovery after Harvey.
Another great gem in the Rockport-fulton area. This is a little diner-type place with good home-style cooking. The servers are always friendly, and while the menu offers several tempting choices, I've always ordered the burgers because I can't pass them up. They are perfection in my opinion!

One of my favoritge places to eat at when I'm in Rockport. Don't excpect fine diniing as this the name very well represents the decor. What it lacks in aesthetics makes up for great food and low prices. Wait staff are super friendly and efficeint. Lots of good BBQ choices and seafood combinations. I like the fact that you can mix and match BBQ and seafood items.

Over 10,000 people come to Rockport/Fulton for the annual art festival and 4th of July weekend. We arrived at 11:30 and was able to get a table inside with air conditioning. It was too hot & humid to eat outside on their covered patio. The drinks arrived cold and the burgers were delicious. The fries were rather wimpy but the onion rings were perfect. Best to arrive early or play to wait.

We upscale with a friendly atmosphere! Family owned for 17 years. Feel free to walk around and look at the art on the walls. Our bar area opens at 4:30 and we serve Happy Hour specials 4:30-6:30 every day except Saturday.
A very nice atmosphere offering fresh seafood and local art. Fresh caught seafood and good steaks, appetizers and fresh salads ensure even the most selective palates will be happy. Full bar. Good service.

Cozy restaurant with wood fired oven. Try the wood fired Brie. Excellent cocktails with a limited but exceptional dinner menu and a decent wine selection. This restaurant has live music most evenings and during the day the background music is 1950s. This is my #2 restaurant in Rockport only because it does not have a coastal view.

Cherylâs is a nice reprieve from the water/beach scene. As you enter you will definitively understand the eclectic vibe the owner illustrates throughout the restaurant. Fortunately, the food is as fun and diverse as the decor. Tasty seafood and steak entrees are my favorite but thereâs really something for any type of palate in your group. Sunday brunch is nice as well. Full bar and the owner is often there to make sure all runs smoothly.

We went on a Friday at lunch, so the service was pretty quick. My son (who works in a seafood restaurant) didn't care for the gumbo ("too squshy... too many vegetables"), but the rest of our meal was great. I enjoyed an enormous blackened chicken po-boy and he had bacon-wrapped shrimp. My daughter had chicken strips from the kids' menu. She wasn't wowed by themnn, but she considers herself a chicken strip expert. Sigh.... Service was fast and friendly (thank you Debbie!) and we enjoyed watching the shrimp boats and sea birds out the windows facing the docks. I'd definitely return (and I don't eat seafood)! :D

Established in Fulton, Texas March of 2012. Serving the best local Gulf Seafood, prime steaks, Boars Head brand deli sandwiches, fresh soups, chowders, homemade desserts, wine and ice cold beer. After hurricane Harvey in 2017 we relocated into the neighbo
We had dinner here, about 7:30 and there was ample tables available. It was a nice size restaurant, with white linen tablecloths and the decor was pleasant and simple. The waiter was very helpful with our questions about the menu items and was attentive without hovering. They do have a wine list, though we did not have wine that evening. The menu variety wasn't huge, but still covered most of the basics. I had the broiled scallops and my husband opted for the grilled grouper. We each had salad and a baked potato with our meal. They had onion soup on the menu but when I asked about it, the waiter informed me that they typically don't serve it until around the fall, when the weather gets cooler. They brought rolls to our table and then our salads. The salads were served cold with a nice mix of greens and veggies. Our entree came out a short while later and both plates were sizzling. My husbands grouper was nice and thick and a good size portion. My scallops were simmering in butter and about the size of half dollars; not huge, but about two bites per scallop. They were very fresh, but there wasn't a very strong flavor to them, so the garlic butter they were served in was needed. Our server was very nice and very efficient. Don't expect this to be a cheap restaurant, but their prices are about par with similar seafood restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our meal and had a good experience.
