First, It was so pleasant to eat in a restaurant that was not noisy like all the Villages restaurants. We could actually have a quiet conversation. The place is pleasantly decorated. The food and service was very good. we went on wild game night and I ordered the Elk chops. My wife ordered the 6 ounce Filet. Both pieces of meat were cooked exactly as ordered and were quite flavorful. We also had desserts, the chocolate cake with peanut butter sauce and my wife the cheese cake. Both were excellent. The service by Steve was first class.

Went on Tuesday evening with a group of 5 guys. Crowded it as AYCE chicken wings Tuesday special. Lots of regulars and separate section with about dozen trays of different flavored wings. Looked really good but I blood test later that week. Our group had personal pizzas, Greek salad, baked pasta w/ meatballs and meatball hero. A first visit for our Group and everyone satisfied with taste, seasoning and portion. Menu says allow 40 minutes for calzone which none had but it still took 40 minutes. That was ok as food was hot and tasty. Not fancy inside but clean and neat.

The cheesesteak was a bit dry and not full of flavor. The fries were steak fried and OK. The self serve soda was nice. The service was good and your check is at the register and not left on your table, so donât panic or look for it. The place is a friendly little diner with lots of characters.

We go there a few times a month.. the food and service are great and consistent. Ramshakles changes their menu often which I like. They have grilled chicken wings that are to die for.. you have to ask for them, they aren't on the menu.. yummy

Small restaurant chain serving classic breakfast and lunch all day! Train themed decor, outstanding service, and a friendly atmosphere.
Had a hankering for some pancakes and knew they had the best. They have something new and figured I would try them. They are cinnamon pancakes! I like mine with an egg on top, they are very pretty when served. Like a giant cinnamon roll but in pancake form. Just be ready for really sweet, they have lots of cinnamon, sugar and brown sugar in a swirl all around the pancake. I put syrup on it but probably didn't need it. Could only eat one because it was really sweet. Be prepared.Definitely bring your sweet tooth for our Cinnamon Swirls! We are so glad you enjoyed them Elaine. Thank you for your positive feedback.

My organization was looking for a central meeting place that could accommodate 20+ people. La Palma was gracious enough to give us their back room. It was perfect. Our waitress, Juana, was superb. How she kept all our orders straight, keep our drinks flowing, and brought out our meals piping hot amazed me. We didn't have to wait for our meals, but we never felt rushed either. A good balancing act.I had the fish tacos. They were quite good. I particularly liked the salsa - it was obviously made from fresh ingredients. The manager, Julie, even came back to see how we were doing. In my experience, that personal touch is quite rare. When I was leaving I saw other patrons drinking a margarita sampler(3) that looked yummy. This was my first visit, but I plan to go back to give it a try.

Arrived here for an early dinner(4pm) with 2 friends and we were seated immediatelySharniece was a super server! My friends recommended the baby back ribs, so I ordered a half rack which was served with two sides and garlic toast ($11.99). OMG - the lima beans were really very good! A nice change! Half rack was plenty! Thanks much! Looks like you love Texas or are from Texas. I grew up in Vernon (50 miles west of Wichita Falls). Iâll pat Sharnice on the back and Iâll let Chef Sammy know that you love his Lima beans. Heâs been making them for Oakwood for 21 years.

Have driven right by it several times. It wasn't until a friend had mentioned if you want real bar-b-que then IBar-B-Que is the place. They really smoke their meat, family owned (I believe), nice portions, plenty of side selections especially if you like Southern cooking, and friendly service. Nothing fancy about the place but dine in or carry out and enjoy real smoked bar-b-que. Brisket sandwich $9.99 comes with a packed full of brisket on a bun and one side. Dinner two meat combo, 2 sides and cord bread. Baked beans were very good as was the corn bread. price = $13.99. Got there on a Friday at noon and actually got a seat. Small parking lot.
