Family and locally owned business offering homecooked meals featuring local beef, full bar and nice wine selection. breakfast, lunch, dinner 6 days a week and brunch on Sunday.
Not many places to eat in Fruita but we need to be overnight there and tried Strayhorn. Their sign had blown down in a recent storm so they were quite difficult to find but once there, the food was quite good. Nothing fancy but everything else close by was either Mexican ot Chinese and we wanted just basic food that afternoon.

We stopped in for lunch. Server was inattentive to begin with, took forever to take our order with only one other table being served. Asked for hamburger medium rare, came very well done, however overall hamburger was excellent with the exception of some really tough grilled onions. My husband had the breakfast burrito, says it was the best breakfast burrito ever, with outstanding hash browns that he finished(he never finishes them).

This cafe is in a low-key location and off the beaten path in Fruita. The first thing you'll notice is most of the people here know one another. There are quite a few regulars. The staff is on the ball, and we were seated immediately. My coffee cup never got to be half-full. Our order was taken right away, and the food was quite good. This is a great place to come for a pre-ride breakfast.
We are a family owned and operated Gourmet BBQ joint. We take pride in every single dish that leaves our window. We care about our customers, they are the reason we are here! Our specialties include, smoked pork, brisket, ribs, chicken wings, deep fried p
This is located in my hometown of Fruita. My husband and I tried it this summer and it was very good but not over-the-top. I am not a BBQ expert and don't see what all the fuss is over BBQ. We will go again and I would get brisket as this is my favorite cut.

Was staying in Grand Junction. Drove to Fruita specifically for this brewery. Upon entering no one greeted us. There was a sign saying wait to be seated. Place was not at all crowded. Went into bar area and stood there, again,no one acknowledged we were there. When the waitress finally acknowledged us, we were seated and given menus. We asked about their Hoppy Hour, which is actually advertised on their website and the chalkboard out front and the waitress told us that was â just snacksâ. when we told her we came specifically for the Hoppy Hour she said she would try to find us a menu. The food was good, but would not be back again. Also, was wanting a t shirt because of the name, Suds Brotherâs and there was basically no t shirts in stock. Kind of disappointing visit.

Usually here on a weekly basis! Amazing breakfast, great service, and nothing to complain about! But be patient if youâre visiting during the tourist/mountain bike season as it can be very busy!! But always worth the wait!
