Small quaint restaurant that was in a former house which made for a nice atmosphere. The food was very good especially the Beef Stroganoff soup. Very good and friendly service. Would definitely go for a return visit. The bakery good were extremely tempting.

I went to this place again with my sister and it always has the kind of vibe that brings out memories. There is a uniqueness about this location which is very attractive. They have yummy root beer floats. :) I highly recommend this little coffee cafe. It is super nice and unusual.

I keep coming here. Itâs noy gourmet, nor fine dining, but itâs not canned food neither. Shrimp is hard to beat! I got a Cuban sandwich this time. Very good. Not expensive. You get plenty to eat. Staff is always pleasant. Good, hard workers, making a go of things and doing a good job of it.

Willy's is a step above average bbq. The prices are high for the portions that you receive. Their sides are really good BBQ beans are really good) and their sauces are decent. Very friendly service, but if you have the time, it is SO worth it to drive over the mountain to the Haywood Smokehouse.

The dinner was absolutely delicious! Pimento cheese balls, shrimp and grits , tomato basil soup were so fresh and delicious. The service however was disappointing. It began when The hostess pushed us to sit outside in 93 degrees because the booths were reserved. We said we did not want to sit outside and she âfoundâ us a table inside. We did not see a customer enter and sit in a Booth. The restaurant was empty The lady who poured water recommended a beer that was not a light beer but a lager. I asked the bartender to please help me select a beer when she had a moment and I never saw her again. Our waiter was the worst. When we asked him to recommend something, he said âeverything is greatâ. Thatâs not helpful. He was inattentive and did not seem to care about service. Too bad we were not wowed by the service because the food was amazing. Hopefully this review will get someoneâs attention so the service is elevated to match the excellent cuisine

50'S & 60's Diner serving gourmet hamburgers, hot dogs, soups, salads and other great American dishes. Our restaurant also includes an old-fashioned soda fountain featuring hand dipped ice cream sundaes and hand-made milkshakes. Our building served as a c
Seated quickly. Great background music...we hummed the lyrics to every song. Steakburger was large and cooked perfectly. Same with the bleu cheese burger. Large home cut fries and onion rings were perfect. The server was really slammed. She forgot the silverware. She brought us each a canned local craft beer but did not bring a glass. We had to fetch it ourselves. The restaurant is definitely worth the visit for the food and atmosphere.

Everything at Fat Buddies is decent enough, but nothing to write home about... I had a chopped pork sandwich that I enjoyed, but it can't hold a candle to some of the better barbecue sandwiches I have had -- most notably Franklin Barbecue and the County Line in Austin, Texas; The Shed in Gautier, Mississippi and the nearby Haywood Smokehouse in Waynesville, Dillsboro and now Franklin, North Carolina too.

My husband and I ate there for lunch and took 2 ginger s salad which were good with plenty of roast beef. BUT the salads were served in plastic take away containers with plastic utensils, dessert was the same and the drinks served in styrofoam cups. I asked the very nice waitress if they were recycling and the answer was negative. It is the 1st and last time, we eat there as I do not wish to encourage such waste thus the rating.

While in Franklin, I search Trip Advisor for a good lunch spot and Ms Lois' was top rated. I can see why.I ordered the country fried steak and don't think I've ever had better. The service was prompt, the prices were reasonable and the sides were amazing. My only regret, I didn't have room for dessert.Highly recommended!
