It is just a normal hamburger joint. It was hard to find a prfectly clean table. It had a very limited menu. I was used to Carl's which has salads and several more interesting choices in Hamburgers. But it is Hardees and not Carl's even though they share that same star.
Our first time here and we were not impressed. We dined at lunchtime, portions were small and food was ok at best. Waitress was rather indifferent and didn't seem to be too much into her job. Place was clean and speed of service was fine. It appears the breakfast may be the way to go. We may come back one more time and try that..

We were on a road trip back from a stop in Nauvoo, Illinois and decided to check out the Fort Madison riverfront. It is there that we stumbled onto the Lost Duck Brewery. What a pleasant surprise! Great craft beers, excellent sandwich options including Elk and Bison. Friendly staff and great decor with a perfect view of the Mississippi River. Highly recommend!

We ordered four different meals here and each one was excellent! It was very conveniently located and the staff was friendly. Weâll definitely come here again when weâre in the area.

Just ate supper here, I had the Swiss Steak special with mashed potatoes smothered in gravy, two dinner rolls and cooked carrots which was all awesome, to top it off free dessert which I chose Tapioca Pudding. Service was great too. Both the wife and I had a nice salad to start with, she had skettie with texas toast which she thought was very good. Several different nicely priced specials to choose from.

My husband, two teens and I arrived before the after church crowd. We were seated right away and the waitress said she'd be right back to take drink orders. We then waited over 15 minutes for her to come back! Part of my family had the brunch buffet, which they said was ok... nothing spectacular! Those of us who ordered off the menu were still waiting on food when the others were finished eating. And the filet was overdone! When we asked the waitress what the soup was for the day, she didn't know so we ordered salad bar. The salad greens were not fresh. The waitress only came back to check on the table once! It was fairly busy by the time we left, but not when we arrived. I don't mind waiting if a place is really busy, but that was not the case today!

My husband found this restaurant for us, and we made the 45-minute drive over from Illinois to try it, based on the rave reviews. We were not disappointed! Everything that we tried was delicious, from the Japanese dumplings, to the caprese flatbread, perfectly cooked and seasoned steak and shrimp entrees, and finally, yummy dessert. Everything is fresh, homemade, and has great flavor. The menu is small, but there are nightly specials which rotate depending upon what is in season. (There is also a fairly standard kids' menu, which you can also choose to up- or down-size, which is nice.) You can get small plates as starters or add a side and salad to make them a meal. Even the side dishes are fresh and inventive. The creamy sesame house dressing was delicious, too! It is a small, unassuming storefront restaurant, eclectic but not fancy in terms of decor. The food was expensive enough that we couldn't come every week, but I would like to! An absolutely delicious experience, which I highly recommend!

You may not want to come here if you are big on hygiene, but otherwise I recommend it for their great hamburgers and fair prices. We stopped in here on our way through town. They make everything fresh as you order. However, the cook dug our hamburger meat out with bear hands (did not see him wash hands before or after) and formed the patties. The girl went from handling someone's money to putting our vegetables on buns with bare hands. So - not a hygenic place, but we were given immune systems for a reason, right?
