Find out what American restaurants to try in Fort Benton. Fort Benton is a city in and the county seat of Chouteau County, Montana, United States. Established in 1846, a full generation before the U.S. Civil War, Fort Benton is one of the oldest settlements in the American West; in contrast, many other places—including large cities today—were settled in the late 1860s, 1870s, or 1880s. The city's waterfront area, the most important aspect of its 19th-century growth, was designated the Fort Benton Historic District, a National Historic Landmark, in 1961.

Serving Montana Regional Cuisine in a Historic setting. Patio dining next to the Missouri River. Many ingredients are locally sources and our trained Chef cooks dishes according to the season. AAA three diamond rating.
We have enjoyed going to the Grand Union for their Spring Tasting for awhile now, but this is the first year we were able to enjoy the evening and not have to worry about driving home afterward. And that made it really special for us.The Spring Tasting offers a five course dinner with a different wine with each course. This year they offered Roasted Beet Napoleon Salad with Contrarian wine, Cream of Nettle Soup with Sticks and Stones wine, Shaved Lamb Saddle with Perfectionist wine, Braised Beef Short Ribs with Problem Child wine and Upside Down Rhubarb Cake with cottonwood ice cream and Sweet Cherry wine. All the wines for this year came from George's Distributing and Linne Calado Vineyard. They have a different vineyard host the dinner every year. And the wines aren't cheap. We tasted one that sells for $90.00 a bottle. These dinners are always very special occasions. The chef uses as much local fruits, vegetables and meats as he can.For most of this years' dinner, the fruits and vegetables were picked last year and frozen for the Tasting this year. The chef comes up with some amazing dishes that really blow your mind when he describes how he comes up with some of his ideas. You really appreciate his inventiveness when it comes to cooking. If you ever get the chance to check out the Spring Tasting or any of the other special dinners they host throughout the year, take the time to check them out. You won't regret it and you'll have the time of your life.Thank you so much and I will pass this on to the Chef. We have been doing these dinners every spring for over 15 years and each year is better than the last. We look forward to seeing you again.

We stopped in here for lunch, after it was recommended by a local. When you pass by, the name says coffee house, but they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. My wife is a vegetarian and they had a lot of vegetarian options. They serve beer and wine and have many coffee options. The service was great and the food was good. Not a lot of options for food in town, so when you realize this place serves food, you won't be sorry if you give them a try. Enjoy.
We are a take-out and catering restaurant. We serve the freshest food, which makes the best food possible. We are a Filipino and Asian-fusion restaurant. We serve Filipino noodles (pansit), chicken bbq, loaded fried rice, and lumpia, and a dessert everyda
