Stopped by this Waffle House after a visit to the Georgia Renaissance Festival, which is across the interstate to the west nowadays. For its first ten years (1986-1996 or so), the festival entrance was very close to where this Waffle House now sits. Service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant was a little less than half full. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and a double order of hashbrowns scattered and smothered and both were served quickly (the hashbrowns came first, as you'd expect). The grilled chicken salad is really a pretty good deal for the price. As for the hashbrowns, well....as far as I'm concerned they could change the name of the place to Hashbrown House since they're so iconic...and so good. All in all it was a pleasant and tasty visit, and I'll almost certainly stop by here again before the festival is over.

I had the Honey Cajun wings, they where great, l love wings and l always almost have the same flavors lemon pepper and medium. But l decided to brunch out they where not too spicy or too sweet they where just right. The girl who served me was okay not really engaging when l asked about the different sauces that l had never had.

We have come to expect consistent service and food when visiting any Cracker Barrel. Not today.... poor service by the waitress and the kitchen. Over and over we asked for things and she kept forgetting. Out of five dinners only two were as requested and it was lukewarm . Wilted salads and brown mushy apples then brought us someone elseâs food and put it down in front of us.... not legal. Bad service all around. Thank goodness this isnât my usual Cracker Barrel. You can do better...

JUDY'S is a real Mom and Pop restaurant in the downtown city of Fairburn, Ga. It has home cook meals that are really great. They open at 5 am each morning and close at 3 pm. There is not my ch seating space but plenty of long line each day. They have the best corn muffins I have tasted since my mind mom's. There is always a special session f the day each day and they have the best banana pudding and fried chicken.

Stopped here for lunch on our trip through the area. I didn't realize it was a chain, rather than a mom & pop establishment. The food quality was average and nothing really Impressed any of us in the group. Service was okay, but the cashier/front end staff did really have the patience for a newcomer to read the menu. I was really hoping for more variety, but being a chain means the menus are pre-set.
Quaint little cafe in Palmetto Georgia. In a strip mall adjacent to the Shell Station. Family owned operation and you can tell by the friendly service. Dining area is very clean. I dropped by on a Friday evening for the Barbecue Ribs. I really wanted a barbecue sandwich but only the 3 rib dinner with two sides was being served. I ordered the Rib dinner with mac&cheese, collard greens and corn cake. The ribs were big, and juicy but slightly salty to my taste. Sweet Ice tea

Iâve visited a lot of Chick-Fil-A restaurants...but this was one of the worst Iâve been too. The staff wasnât very friendly compared to others and the restaurant looked nasty. When we finally received our food, my husbandâs medium fries were shorted by half. I wonât be back.

In 1919, a handsome doctor presented the keys of a stately mansion to his new bride. That mansion, Green Manor, still standsâ¦itâs historic architecture carefully restoredâ¦wide verandasâ¦beveled glass doorsâ¦beautiful chandeliersâ¦a magnificent mahogany stair
Went to Green Manor for lunch. It is a true example of classic Southern comfort food. Their lunch buffet has a great offering of turkey, ham, chicken and beef all home cooked. Solid mac n cheese, collards, green beans, and of course sweet potatoes. The Green Manor is actually a large old southern home converted to this "must stop by" restaurant. The service is excellent, full of natural southern hospitality. And don't forget the desert table with banana pudding, carrot cake, pie. Such a wonderful break from the chain restaurants, which are everywhere in Metro Atlanta.
The bat was nice and not too crowded. We got there late (after 11pm) on a Saturday night. The music is in keeping with the area, and super loud but everyone was super friendly. I got the Bob Marley to drink. It was big and super pretty but very strong! There was no cover, food was decent and the live DJ seemed to be having a blast!
