My Wife and I along with friends have stopped in a couple times over the summer. I am aware that restaurants on the lake are under tremendous pressure, and often do not make it thru the off season, We have had mixed reviews so I think it is just order what you know was good before. We took friends, who both ordered chicken fried steak. They were all bread, with very little meat. My wife ordered grilled shrimp, they had obviously been in the microwave taking on the texture of silicon that had been left out of the tube. The taste was horrid. I had fried catfish and as the with the previous times I had ordered this dish, it was very good. Unfortunately my wife did not inform me of the shrimp until I had paid the tab, when I did complain they offered to give me a gift certificate, (risky due to the impending winter they would have to survive) but I graciously excepted, since we would have got nothing otherwise. Upon inspecting the gift certificate, we were given a $10 card on a $16 meal, I guess they didn't think the dish was worth that much either......
The sun shines so brightly it's blinding at times with no blinds. The staff seem friendly but the seating is too sparsely set out. The wifi was not on display but could be now as it's new. The cafe is attached to a church as are the staff there. Early opening.
Charmed Bakery offers a variety of sweets such as cookies, cupcakes, huge cinnamon rolls, etc. We have lunches daily from 11-2
We stopped in for treats for the kids, but found they offer sandwiches. There Rubin was very good, the cup cakes were great.
Initially made the decision to head to Chucks for dinner after being notified by the Blue Moon bartender that Saturday night was prime rib night at Chucks. Unfortunately our motorcycle adventure included a few more stops and we arrived just as the kitchen was closing. Good news for us the owner is an absolute angel and had the kitchen make us whatever we wanted. Bottom line the food was awesome, the people were amazing, and next time we're that way cruising on the motorcycles we are stopping at Chuck's first!!!

The family visited Anglerâs café for our Friday night dinner. They were having their Friday night AYCE fish specials. We opted from the chicken fried chicken, hamburger steaks and even offered a sample piece of fish. The meals came with a choice of soup or salad, choice of potato, choice of veggies, roll and our beverage selections which came to around $55. The hamburger steak was good; the chicken fried chicken was a massive portion and good. The veggies (corn, fried okra, and mashed potatoes-a baked potato that was mashed) were very mediocre. The sample piece of fish we tried was nothing special. Our waitress was very good, there was a steady flow of customers in and out during our visit, the restrooms were clean and there were several wall-mounted TVâs showing the NCAA basketball tourney.

Our lunch was pretty good. It was busy, so must be popular with the locals. They had quite a few choices on their menu.

Nicely decorated restaurant, with a great view and friendly service. The food was between poor and terrible. It has a limited lunch menu. The special for the day was chicken enchiladas with beans, rice, chips salsa and cheddar poblano soup. Three of us had the chicken enchiladas and one chicken salad sandwich. The salsa came from a bottle, the beans from a can, and the stuffing in the enchiladas was not that good. The soup was fair. About 1/2 of one enchilada was the most any of us was able to eat. The dinner menu may be better, but all I have to go on was this lunch visit and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were on a road trip back to Texas and I really had a hankering for a old fashioned burger. Super impressed! Itâs your spot on 1/3 lb cheeseburger American cheese, red onion, pickles mayo lettuce goodness. Price was right. Service was awesome. It takes a moment to make, because they do it up fresh. Onion rings were thick, hot and good. Going to make this my new stop when traveling thru here.

Dobber's is located on the strip of Highway 9 and at Lake Eufaula. We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered several of their 1/2 pound Angus beef burgers (bacon cheeseburger and mushroom burger) and served with fries.I was surprised that when taking our orders they did not ask how we wanted our burgers cooked. When brought to the table, the burgers were cooked well. The burgers were good, but I would have certainly liked my beef cooked more to medium well. Otherwise; the food and fries were good, but nothing special. The service was very good, the soft drinks were bottomless, and the gender neutral restrooms were clean.

I can't be the only one completely disappointed that not only did I NOT smell bacon when I entered the diner, but the only bacon offered on the menu was in a BLT or with eggs?? Isn't that LITERALLY the bacon offered by EVERY other diner on the planet??!?!? I guess I took the name of the diner too literal. I expected choices like... Peppered Bacon. Brown Sugar Glazed Bacon. Bacon Fries. Bacon Hash Browns. Bacon Milkshakes. Bacon & Cheese Biscuits. Yes, I gave it some thought as I followed my GPS to the #1 Restaurant in Eufaula. Color me blue.
