Sort of a greasy spoon type place, kind of a hidden gem. Showed up on Sunday about 10 and was seated immediately. Great service, good price. Had the grilled Kielbasa with eggs and it was good.

Tucked in a shopping mall, it is almost difficult for visitors to find off 421 Felicitia Avenue in the supermarket mall. The exterior is a mixture of Hawaiian and California seafood restaurant style. Once inside near the reception desk, there are cork net floats strung on rope that give away the retro design ambience. As you enter, there are several seating options in the big high ceiling bar area, or a more intimate lounge area near the patio. Our waitress, Sara, was hire for her beauty and charm, and the cute waiters were nice too. She was an accomplished server, and she did an excellent job in helping guest navigate the menu. The reports came back the clam chowder and fish taco was very good, but our table picked the grilled ahi twice. Dessert oh hum brownie that was lacking vitality, but the food and service surpassed the decor!

Always fun to sit at the bar here because service is consistently good. Seats are comfortable and a talented staff is there to assist. We both started with a nice glass of chardonnay (decent Price) and of course their bread basket. Warm and freshly made. For lunch we both had the Seared Tuna Tataki Salad. Perfectly seared Sushi Grade Tuna, lots of fresh veggies and tasty soy salad dressing plus plenty of fresh sliced pickled ginger. Perfect! The desserts are to die for but we passed this time around. This place is a must especially if you are tired of shopping at all the great stores inside the mall..Hi John. Thank you for your review. We're so happy to hear that you enjoy our food! We hope to see you back soon!

Enjoy casual dining with friendly service and rich atmosphere. Breakfast and Lunch menus feature fantastic meals from a hearty South of the Border Omelette to a healthy Oriental Chicken Salad or a tasty Blackened Chicken Burger. The Dinner menu includes a
My sister and I are staying at the Lawrence Welk Resort and after a long day of traveling from Minneapolis, we decided to go to this onsite property restaurant. Had a 20 minute wait as we didn't have a reservation. Lovely restaurant. Delicious food. Great service. I had the stuffed Mediterranean chicken meal. My sister had the Alaskan cod. Both were delicious. Our meals came with yummy warm bread. There are fun shops outside of the restaurant along with the theater.

We grabbed supper here while visiting the area. There is free off-street parking and the wait staff are friendly however, the food is a little pricey and it may not be to everyone's liking. The miso vinagrette on the house salad was largely tasteless and it was like eating grass with very little apple or almonds to be found. The creamed collard greens were also a strange mixture and not very good at all. My wife said her vegetarian dish was very good. The fried chicken was very good but the portion did not rate the price. Overall, I guess I would rate this place 'very good' however, it is not someplace I would visit again due to the price and type of food.

This place reminded me of all the 50s diners I frequented as a kid with all the familiar dishes. For old timeâs sake I ordered the Hot Beef Sandwich, open faced white bread, heaps of thin sliced beef smothered in brownish/black gravy, like canned Franco-American, with mashed potatoes. It tasted pretty much the way I remembered it. Definitely not gourmet, but tasty and filling. My husband ordered the Patty Melt and said it was the best heâd had in a while. The fries werenât anything to write home or TripAdvisor about, but the coleslaw was quite good. It had a light dressing on it that wasnât sweet or goopy. The ambiance is nice and definitely friendly. The servers are all gracious and welcoming. The place had a number of regulars the servers called by name. I thought it was lovely. The location is a little bit off the beaten path, but it is obviously a locals kind of place that people love. We would eat here again.

Recently Lynn and I and friends had a delightful lunch at The Brigantine Seafood Restaurant while visiting Escondido. We ate in the bar area, but we were able to use the Lunch menu which ended at 2:30. We were there just a few minutes before. The restaurant also offered a small bites bar menu. I had a most incredible half Lobster Crab Cobb salad....$13.25. I mean, I was the envy of the restaurant with this dish..lots of seafood..and huge. Lynn had a cup of clam chowder ($5.50) and the Crab Shrimp Fondue ($13.50). everything was good and creative at The Brigantine. Rachel, our server was excellent too. This is a hidden treat. We may go back on this trip.

Located on the Penthouse Level of the Lexus Centre of Escondido, Vintana offers a modern take on California Cuisine and picturesque views of the Escondido town and countryside.
Still one of the nicest places to celebrate in San Diego, not just north county. Certainly the nicest car dealership I've ever been to. We went on Saturday evening and had one of the best pork chops I've ever eaten. Extremely tender and the bone marrow butter was a great match. Very nice place, but was a little loud this visit. It was someone's 60th bash, and a good party atmosphere, but had a difficult time hearing the guests in our party so wound up shouting a lot.

My husband and I were here on Saturday, September 7th and our friend came and joined us. We all had an AMAZING time! There was a wait for a table and both bars (inside and outside) were full so we ventured out into the garden and it was FABULOUS! There were NO crowds, great bar with excellent service and the ambiance was FANTASTIC! We had to keep delaying our lunch reservation because we were so happy out there in the garden, we wanted to stay out there longer and we went back out there after lunch. Lunch with Laura serving us was excellent. It was a full restaurant and they were busy but Laura was so attentive, sweet and engaging. She made an already fun day even more delightful. The food was delicious and so were our drinks. Laura was GREAT! Thank you for a wonderful day!Thank you Anna for the detailed feedback and the amazing rating. So great to hear about your experience and I will share with you server Laura and celebrate her excellence. Can't wait till your next visit, see you soon.

Recently, Lynn and I and a friend stopped for dinner at Fish House Vera Cruz after spending the day touring the nearby mountains. We each had the Pacific Rock Fish (Pacific Red Snapper) which included a salad and a vegetable ($21.50). We each had one nice filet of the fish which was grilled on an open fire. It was really good. Atmosphere is nautical with white tablecloths. Our server, Emily, did a good job. The menu is extensive and offers everything from appetizers to the finest seafood.
