We had the pleasure of eating a lunch catered by Wild West Retreat while on a tour of Utah parks. It was the best meal we had on the 11 day trip. They really know what they are doing. Everything was ready to go when our bus of 40 arrived. We felt so welcomed, and the food was so good - tender, juicy pulled pork sandwiches, dutch oven potatoes that were scrumptious, the best baked beans ever, salad, lemonade, and a brownie sundae for dessert that was so good. It was the best!!

4th West Pub is the only pub on Scenic Byway 12, in the heart of the Grand Staircase- Escalante Utah. Full bar, over 30 different beers, and light "pub grub" Panini's and California styled street tacos and Nachos. But you don't have to eat! Kitchen closes
We were here twice on our 10 days in Escalante. Both were fantastic. Service was quick friendly and food was excellent. Mind you itâs pub food, but it is truly good. We had the street tacos and chips with smoked salsa. Topped off with a cold draft beer and very satisfying. The Pub has a great deal of history behind it so read their story and look at all the pictures hanging on the walls. There is a pool table also and they have art night live music night and many more special events to keep it fresh. Shout out to Dave and all his staff, you have a huge gem! And a Happy Anniversary, and many more so that more folks can enjoy your hospitality Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed yourself so much!

Everything about North Creek is magic.... The location - tucked among the rugged rock walls of an ancient canyon above lush green irrigated pastures. The menu - offering amazing choices from wood-fired meatloaf and amazing thin crust pizza to a molten chocolate dessert that will take your breath away. Oh - and a bubbly Bellini prepared with local apricots bursting with flavor. Our server - Bryce, had an uncanny ability to be there exactly when we needed him without hovering when we didnt. What a nice guy!Our fellow diners - a blend of locals, European travelers, and people like us, all seeking & finding a special dining experience in a setting unlike anywhere else in the world. We lingered at our table long after dessert was a happy memory, savoring the magic of a place that feels elegant in its simplicity. We were lucky to have a short stroll to our lodging in the Casita at Slot Canyons Inn, where the brilliant dark night sky kept the magic going.

Devil's Garden Grill is an American restaurant that specializes in traditional and modern interpretations of Southwestern Cuisine. Wine list, draft and bottled beer plus craft cocktails are served as well.
We were staying at the Entrada Escalante & decided to have dinner here. the first time we tried their oven was broken. But a couple of days later we stopped for breakfast, and everything was delicious. Try the potatoes with onion & fresh jalapenos . Went back for dinner & once again everything was delicious. You must try the tamales! The service was not the greatest, our waitress for both meals had just started the day before, but she was very nice, and everything came to the table as we ordered it. Some of the best food we've had anywhere!

My wife and I plus her friend ate here on 9/30/19. Food was good, service was good and place was clean. HOWEVER, I hope the owners read this: I watched the waitress handle the silverware after moving chairs around and placing silverware on the table by handling the eating end of the folk and knife. She set up two tables like this while we were finishing our meal.

Awesome food that is both seasonal and delicious! Mimi has been cooking for a long time and serves the community in a variety of ways, not the least of which is through her cooking. For breakfast, I had a delicious asparagus quiche (warm and fresh) as well as a just-out-of-the-oven blackberry muffin (huge!) with a citrus glaze and free coffee! Yes, free for those who purchase food! We pulled up chairs around the community table and had a lovely conversation with other tourists and locals too. My husband had quiche and an almond croissant which Mimi bakes from dough she imports from Belgium. Other baked goods, two other quiche flavors, and freshly made sandwiches were also available. Mimi has an amazing background in management and salvaging failing restaurants. Another way in which she serves the community is to invite the town's kids in to make pumpkin pies during the week before Thanksgiving. Each bakes two--she sends them home with one and the others support those in need of food. We could have visited all day and of course, eaten our way through the day too!
