What a great little place that we went because of the great tripadvisor reviews. Lindsey, our waitress was great, very busy but still made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. Fun atmosphere, food was excellent and came out fast. Will be stopping again! Thank you.

This was our 1st visit to this location. My daughter and I stopped here for lunch before our drive home. We both had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Very large portion neither my daughter of I could finish our meals. Our burgers were cooked perfectly and were delicious( we had them hold the thousand island sauce). Fries were yummy as well. Will definitely stop here again.

Maybe I was just tired but I didn't find this place very memorable... in fact I had to ask my husband what I had ordered. Turns out it was a steak and fries. My husband had a hamburger and he did enjoy his pick.Service was friendly though. Drinks were good and the prices were very reasonable.

The Bayfront Grille, located in the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel in Erie, Pennsylvania, can be your personal oasis in the heart of Erie's Bayfront Marina District. The stunning lake views on our patio are sure to take your breath away, while you dine on a
When we arrived for dinner, our waiter stated there was a new menu, the kitchen was backed up, and we should expect a slow service. We overhead the waiter apologizing to others seated nearby, for menu items being unavailable. He brought our wine, then was confused that the label had changed, and asked if we wanted it anyway(?). We order (2) rib eye steaks, medium. 1 arrived rare and luke-warm, 1 arrived rare and stone-cold. We sent the cold one back to be warmed up, which it was, but unfortunately not cooked any further. Beyond the poorly cooked steak, the rest of the meal was nothing special, and certainly not worth the cost of the meal. This added to the disappointment that the menu had been changed, because we had selected the restaurant based on the menu provided on their website, and were looking forward to crab cakes, that were not longer available. We presume that the change in menu, slow kitchen, lack of menu items, and poor preparation, all happening on a Saturday night, is evidence that the previous chef, responsible for the favourable reviews, has left the restaurant. Thanks for your recent review of the Bayfront Grille Restaurant. I sincerely apologize for the problems you experienced and I assure you that these issues have since been addressed and corrected. Thanks again for your visit and I hope you can give us a second change again soon!

We decided to stop at this place on the way back from a day trip. I wanted to try something that wasn't franchised. This seemed like a nice local place. There are two sides to the restaurant, one is bar and the other is the family eatery side.We sat on the side family side. The menu is extensive. There are a lot of things on the menu. I got battered fish and it was pretty good. I would say that this is a nice place off the beaten path. You can tell that this place has a lot of locals who come in for a bit to eat. Everyone was very nice. I would come here again.

We stopped in for dinner during a downtown Erie event. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we were seated within minutes. My wife ordered a pesto flatbread which was delicious and I enjoyed the All American Burger on a brioche roll. The food really was very good. An interesting sidebar: the manager came to our table, on this very busy evening, and spoke with us for several minutes. Our server, on the other hand, said little to nothing to us.

Excellent tasty dishes (shrimp & grits, pan seared catfish, fried chicken). All of us were impressed with the food quality. The portions were generous but because the food was so good, we easily finished them. Entrees $15-25 come with choice of two sidesA La carte $13-19 most come with a side or two.Pineapple martinis (with vodka) tasted nearly free of alcohol but had me buzzing after just one.Our waitress was a cheery shorter blond with straight shoulder length hair, I wasn't able to catch her name but she was exceptionally friendly to our family. She told us about growing up in Erie and was a pleasure.

Definitely recommend! My son started at PSU Behrend this fall (#WeAre) and so we are in Erie for parents weekend. Found this on Trip Advisor. From the most friendly service to the delicious food and coffee, this place deserves the great reviews it has gotten. I would never have tried the Greek sauce on my Feta Omlette if I hadnât read the reviews - but wow was it good. The home fries were crispy and delicious. My husband and daughter got the park dinor scrambler bowls and they were yummy goodness of all your favorite breakfast foods in one bowl. The rye toast actually had carroway seeds which you donât always get anymore. We also got a grilled cinnamon bun to share and it was the perfect sweet treat with all the savory dishes. Weâll be back! So glad you stopped in and good luck to your son at Penn State. We hope that you are able to stop in again and tell your son he and his friends are welcome any time. We make homemade soups during the week so tell him to like our Facebook page and if he sees a soup or special that sounds good, stop in. All the best. Becky and Rick
