Booked this place based on the reviews, certainly the atmosphere was good and food presentation was fabulous, but the Summer Roll starter I had was bland. The main course of lamb neck was dry and over cooked. Not sure why Jackies attracts the reviews it does, unless people are eating just with their eyes.

If your like me and you love big juicy steaks then you'll love it here. The resturant has a great astmophere, the staff are dressed as cowboys and cowgirls and service was surprisingly quick, it was packed when we went so I recommend reserving a table. We turned up as a couple and had to wait until a table came free. Like all these places it's not cheap but also not extortion. Would come back!

This place is our special occasion go-to spot. About once a year we drive over to the Apeldoorn area from Noordwijk and come here because its theming is hilarious, the service is fantastic, and the cream garlic sauce is amazing. Surprisingly, I'm not a huge fan of the ribs themselves, but the appetizers and sides are good. I probably would try steak instead of the ribs the next time I go, but for just 19 euros to eat out in the Netherlands and have ribs and a delicious cream tomato soup - and to be able to take a bunch of the sauce home because they packed it so nicely for me - this was well worth the visit. :)
