Reviews on American food in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States. Elk Grove Village is a village located in northeastern Illinois adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and is a near northwest suburb, touching the city of Chicago. It is one of the Chicago metropolitan area's principal villages due to its large industrial park, located on the eastern border of the village. The village is located primarily in Cook County with a small portion in DuPage County. The population was 33,127 at the 2010 census. As the name suggests, Elk Grove Village is home to a small herd of elk kept in a grove at the eastern edge of the Busse Woods forest preserve for which the grove is named. Elk are not native to the area but were brought by train from Montana by an early resident, William Busse, in the 1920s. The elk are currently maintained by the Chicago Zoological Society veterinary staff and the Busse Woods Forest Preserve wildlife biologists.

Looking for a great pancake spot ..it was cute and friendly but the food was only average.. and it was another outrageously noisy restaurant. The place was mobbed but the wait was tolerable.

Let's start on the plus side - tons of crab legs. We went for Sunday Brunch. Pretty standard fare eggs, bacon, etc. Also shrimp, crab legs, lobster cakes.. BUT NO PARKING at least not within 2 blocks. You could pay and extra $6 + Tip and have someone park your car. The crowds were awful and you spent most of your time not at the table with friends and family, but in line. And there was a line for everything.Stephen,Thanks for your review, sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your visit. Not sure if you joined us on the Sunday prior to this review, but that was Father's Day & the holiday Brunches are especially busy. If you would like to try us again on a "regular" weekend, all the good points will still be present. Just let me know if you are interested by contacting my direct email, [email protected], & I will be happy to send an incentive to return. Thanks!

My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had top notch service given by Erick A. Erick recommended some apps and food selections, Erick did a great job. My wife enjoyed the Scallops and I had the Halibut - Both dinners were excellent. Great Place to check out if you want a quick bite or there for dinner.

I had dinner and then breakfast here while staying at the hotel. Not many other choices without a car. Like so many hotel restaurants, the food was over-salted, but plentiful. I'm told the chili is very good. Breakfast (not included in room price) was adequate. Question: why are there heating trays of pancakes and French toast (both pretty good) but no syrup in sight??? Is it a Chicago thing?

Stopped in for breakfast while I was in the area. A bit crowded although that is normal for this location. Food was very good as well as the service. Not a bad stop at all!

Seasons 52 is a fresh grill and wine bar that invites guests to discover the sensational flavors of a seasonally-inspired menu and award-winning international wine list in a casually-sophisticated ambiance.
Our dining experience at Seasons 52 today was excellent. Perfect ambiance, wonderful waitstaff(friendly, sensitive), Ashley R, and an amazing selection of delicious food. We chose to share three starters and they were all excellent: tuna tartare, stuffed mushrooms, and avocado toast. We paired the food with Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Chateau Mimi. Our meal was completed with delicious little desserts: mocha macchiato and key lime pie. I wouldnât hesitate to return for a meal at any time of the day. Outstanding! I WILL return.

What began in Chicago in 1978 is now one of the most award-winning steakhouses around. For over 30 years, Morton's The Steakhouse has been on a mission to provide "The Best Steak⦠Anywhere." Focusing on quality, consistency and genuine hospitality, Morton
Iâve visited Mortonâs several times when staying in Itasca. It never fails to impress both on the service but especially on the food side where the meat is excellent and well prepared. The pricing is in the higher range but you get what you pay for and in this case excellent meat and side dishes.Go there next time you are in the area.
