Sometimes you just want to eat a family meal where everyone will be pleased. Barneyâs fits the bill for our 3 gen family outing. Everyone enjoys the fries...sweet potato for the elders and curly for the kids. Veggie burger? Got it! Excellent pesto portobello burger! Even grilled cheese for the kids. And, of course burgers. Shakes are enormous. We go a couple of times a year and that fits the bill for us. Sweet servers too.

We had seen Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen reviewed on "Check Please Bay Area" a few years ago and had wanted to try it. On a Saturday evening, we did not have a reservation, and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Staff was welcoming, efficient, and most helpful. We are active home cooks, including Cajun cuisine, and found Angeline's preparations to be spot on. We had "Voo Doo" barbecued shrimp over rice and Jambalaya. Both were beautifully prepared, quite different from each other, and each appropriately seasoned. For desert, we had a wonderful pecan pie, and a chocolate cake seasoned subtly with cayenne. Portions were ample, and the service was attentive without being over-bearing. The restaurant a family friendly. We will gladly return.

There is moist likely always a wait, so keep that in mind. They offer a nice area behind the restaurant to wait in, and coffee. The FOOD was pricey, but prob. Not for the area...I come from a cheaper part of the state, but it was worth it.We had a tasty breakfast and left full and happy.Great group of friendly peeps working there.

We stopped here for breakfast Sunday morning and glad we did. The food was excellent. My Denver Omelette with potatoes and 9 grain whole wheat toast was very good. My wife's Cornmeal Waffle was piled high with berries and bananas. Also, very good. The other two in our party had Bacon, Avocado and Cheddar Omelettes with scones. The scones were tasty, but a little dry. Great food, large portions and lots to look at while waiting.

Located in the magnificent former power plant of a Ford automobile factory, the Boilerhouse serves fresh, fast, local, delicious food on the waterfront. Enjoy exceptional value, great tastes and, of course, our amazing view of the San Francisco skyline an
My husband and I go to Assemble for the "Columbia Employee Store" passes. When you finish eating, they present the bill along with a pass for four people. However, every time we eat there, we are pleasantly surprised. The food is well-seasoned and tasty. My favorite dish is the garlic fries. They are garlicky, crispy, and fall under the "bet you can't eat just one" category. The fish and chips are fresh, the coleslaw, crunchy. The coffee is not that trendy "sour, roasted to the first crack" roast that often predominates in urban warehouse restaurants settings. The only criticism I have is that their reservation system doesn't always work, they don't always answer their phone, and the service is a little slow and spotty. However, they do have a captive audience and it is not an unpleasant place to grab a bite to eat.

Went here for the first time with no expectations. It was a fun and lively place. Very friendly and efficient service and good food. The menu is interesting. We only had an entree salad which was excellent. My friend had a beer which she said was very good. I really liked the local feeling. Will definitely return.

I had a reservation for one at the cafe, and I'm an almost-senior citizen ... a demographic that is not beloved in many restaurants. To their credit, service was excellent -- almost too attentive. (I didn't feel rushed, but I was out of there in less than an hour.) But the food was competent, not remarkable. The braised lamb, polenta and mixed vegetables were very good, but not much better than I could make in my home kitchen.

Stopped for take-out sandwiches and got turkey and avocado-cucumber. Both were tasty with fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables and a dill pickle spear. The dijonnaise was especially good. They were ~$6, a terrific bargain for the quality of the food!

I donât know if itâs Iâm older, with more sophisticated tastes, or whether the food has just declined, but the hamburgers arenât delicious as I remember them. The pastries are good but over-priced. The salads are decent. No more lines out the door so maybe it isnât age.
