Extensive menu of meat and fish. Cozy furnishings. Easy reservation via website. Reservations are recommended. It's always busy so that says something about this restaurant. We requested a table near the children's corner.Normally priced. 2 small comments in the online booking we asked a question if there is available a booster seat for our grandchild. Unfortunately we got no answer. Staff generally friendly. A lady had her day out and threw the plates on the table. That was a bit unfortunate and there we had not experienced before. But despite the restaurant remains a must.

Das im passenden Ambiente eingerichtete Restaurant bietet was der Name verspricht: American Food und auch amerikanisches Bier. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist grundsätzlich ok.Was uns aufgefallen ist: Das Personal ist freundlich, aber nicht immer aufmerksam, was sicher auch daran liegt, dass die Bedienung nicht dem Gast "zugeordnet" ist, dessen Bestellung sie/er aufgenommen hat. Dadurch ist es uns schwer gefallen, weitere Wünsche an den/die richtige Ansprechpartner/in zu adressieren, gepaart mit mehrfachen "Ãbersehen-werden".Zudem war - ohne dass dies vorher abgefragt wurde - der Burger nicht ganz durchgebraten. Bei Hackfleisch (von frisch gewolften Patties haben wir auf der Speisekarte nichts gelesen) ist das nicht ok. Daher nur ein "befriedigend".

We have all seen the independent coffee shops as depicted in American films. Quirky interiors. Friendly staff. Great cakes. Good coffee. Did I mention the cakes? Really good cakes. We now have such a place in Veenendaal. On the corner, overlooking the newly constructed Brouwersgracht, is Espressobar de Fazant. Coffee with friends, a quiet spot if you want a break from shopping, a spot for freelancers to work and yet see people, it is the place to be.
