My fiancé and I stopped at the Pizza Man after a long bike ride at the Kingdom Trails. I had the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo and he had a Calzone. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Even though we were very hungry after the ride, we couldn
We went here after a long day of mountain biking and loved our meal! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my boyfriend had a pasta dish as well. The red sauce is really good as were the small salads that came with dinner. We sat in the bar where the service (and margarita!) was fantastic. We tried to go back the next evening but the place was packed. Definitely a great place to stop if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Had breakfast with the extended family on Labor Day. Our server was the best- friendly, helpful and just plain nice. Meals were big, but even better, well-prepared. My blueberry pancakes were full of berries, and they serve real VT maple syrup. Omelets were huge and full of fillings. Great home fries, too. We usually have lunch here, but will definitely be back for another breakfast.

Stopped on Sunday just past noon not realizing they closed soon. But we were seated and served just the same. I had breakfast while spouse had lunch. Both meals were "lots of food" Cooked correctly, and tasted great. Wow...you got to stop when here.
All the food our group ordered was excellent. The staff was also excellent. However they are short staffed. Probably due to the fact the restaurant is difficult to locate. Signed with an arrow would really help. Most people ended up in the pub, which you have to walk past anyway.

Great beer selection in terms of breadth. They had Hill Farmsteadâs Edward which is as fine a beer as has graced a glass. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. Good mix of meats, perfect amount of mustard and pickles. Beautiful balance. Kale salad was covered with goodies and was a great side. Had a large group and was handled well without a hint of stress. Prices are fair. Will go back next time in Burke.

Come and see for yourself the improvements while enjoying the friendly and relaxed sports bar atmosphere complete with pool tables, foosball, darts, NINE big screen TVs and of course our delicious new menu.
This brand new pub in the newly-constructed Burke Mountain Resort complex is bound to be successful. The SUPERB view of Willoughby Gap while you await your order is worth the trip, especially if the daring parasailing aficionados are riding the thermals right in front of you while you enjoy your favorite beverage, delicious pub grub specials, and my latest addiction: flourless chocolate torte! I will be glad when the beautiful deck has sunshades and outdoor service. On future Sundays, a set-priced meal will be served there.($46?) Meanwhile, during the week you can buy at the bar and take your meal outside onto the deck. Personally, I found the noise from the forced-air fans inside to detract from the ambience. In addition, noisy, undisciplined children really need their own zone. Some people forget that this is a shared public area, not their own den for children to run around letting the world know that while their parents may have the money to bring them to a beautiful place, they really do not value their children enough to teach them to respect other people's right to relax. No doubt, as the resort continues to open other dining areas, this issue will be resolved. Meanwhile, the arcade looks really well-equipped for kids of all ages. Bicyclists look really happy zooming down the trails right outside their doors, and guests admire the new ski lift to the top of Burke Mountain. I hope that all the snow needed to keep the skiers happy on the slopes falls all season, always overnight, followed by days filled with the bright rays of sunshine that dazzle visitors and locals of the NorthEast Kingdom of Vermont.I wish this resort great success as a four-season destination that I intend to visit again and again.

I read the 2015 reviews about wait staff and service so I was skeptical about stopping here. Was I pleasantly surprised! The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. The signature sandwiches, hand tossed pizza, and on site baked goods were outstanding and all at a great price. There were many Vermont made items and a nice selection of antiques. Needless to say I purchased souvenirs to bring home. Can't wait to return in the spring.

Have dined here three times this summer. Food and service have been reliably very good. Choices have included salmon, scallops, fish tacos, coffee-rubbed pork, duck and a fancy burger. All tasty. Salads and veggies have been fresh and good. Desserts have been delicious. Fairly priced. Pleasant experiences all.

Have been in here to grab a quick BLT croissant for breakfast, which was very good. Called her to see if she would be interested in catering a dessert function for BMAâs graduating class last year, which she happily did. The desserts were delicious, a huge hit, and she was wonderful to work with. The ownerâs attention to detail and making sure I got what I wanted was excellent. Her rustic desserts were a huge hit and made the event a complete success. Thank you Erica, for your great review! It was so nice working with you on BMA graduation party, I really appreciate your business! Thanks again,Danielle

My family and I stayed in town for mountain biking at KT. We were looking for a quick dinner nearby and tried this place. Service was pretty quick, no wait. Food was good, like others said, similar to bar food. Could have used a little more attention from our waitress, but we had no problems. The only thing I could say to make this any better is better side options. When mountain biking for days and days, having fried food sitting in the stomach doesn't feel good at all and does nothing to help with performance. They seem to mainly offer chips as their sides, otherwise i did notice some had fries. Some steamed veggies, salad, or such would fit a little better for the more active community that seems to fill up here. Just a suggestion. This didn't make or break it for me. I'd visit again and recommend to others.
