Avoid the âspecialsâ. Unfortunately, this restaurant put a damper on what was supposed to be a special and rare night out with my husband. We went for Valentineâs Day, left the kids home, paid a sitter, etc, etc. I ordered the Prime Rib and Crab Leg special for $25.99, my husband ordered the steak special for a similar price. We both ordered the french onion soup and baked potato as our sides. The menu stated that my meal came with 8-10oz of prime rib, and 3 king crab legs. I love crab but donât often get to enjoy it, so that was the portion of the meal I was most excited for. It was very disappointing when my plate arrived and instead of the â3 king crab legsâ stated in the menu, I had ONE king crab leg that had been sliced into 4 pieces, which they gave me 3 of; the math on that is 3/4 of 1 crab leg. The legs were broken at the joint, and then sliced long ways as to expose the meat, causing the meat to dry out and go cold almost immediately. That is bad enough, but add to that that the tendons were not removed from the legs prior to cutting, so on my romantic night out I am picking though cold crab meat and pulling stray tendons out of my mouth. We could hear multiple other diners in the room also taking issue with the crab portions and the serving style. The prime rib was an okay size but luke warm and lacking flavor. The soups were not good at all, they tasted like broth with stale bread and a pile of powdered Parmesan cheese on top. French onion is my absolute favorite and Iâm usually not picky about flavor, but I decided this soup wasnât worth the calories to finish. My husbands steak was ordered medium, but served very close to well done, and also very fatty. We both agreed that the best part of our meals were the baked potatoes. Our waitress was wonderful; very kind and attentive. She told us that their âspecialsâ are normally small, but more expensive (which is why I opened my review with âavoid the specialsâ). This location is beautiful, the wait staff is great, but the overpriced and lackluster food spoils the whole experience.

My man and I have been here on many different occasions. The food is great, but a little high on pricing. The service is always slow even on a slow day and time. Wait staff always friendly each time. Inside needs to be remodeled, but doesn't bring my rating down. My rating was brought down from a 5 to a 4 because of the slow Service and high pricing. Will be back and recommend to everyone. As working in a hotel, I do recommend them if they are going into delavan.

One of the best breakfast spots in the Lake Delavan/Fontana/Williams Bay Area. Great golf course views, ample menu choices, friendly efficient service. It's also suitable of groups up to 12 or so, and staff is eager to help put together multiple tables to accommodate a large family. One of my complaints about many restaurants is the inability to serve meals at the same time. Nothing worse than having half your party finish their breakfast while the others haven't been served... not a problem here! Food comes out fast and hot!Specialty pancakes are great, outstanding Benedicts and tasty quiche on holiday weekends.

This is located on a corner with ample parking. It was a little drafty inside. Service was pretty good. We ordered some wings. Wings were fried with sauce. They tasted great. My burger was pretty good and cooked exactly to order. (Could maybe use a little seasoning). I think next time i would just make sure to ask what kind of sauces go on the burgers. We had fries with corned beef and/or reuben meat and cheese. It was pretty good too. I would definitely go back and bring my family too. This is a family friendy place.

We are from out of town, live down south for the most part, but have a home on the lake here in Wisconsin. We travel all over the world & are very well versed in wine. We generally meet a server or bartender that tries to push agenda wines or over priced wines to boost sales. Our server, who is the bartender that helped us out was amazing. He asked us all the right questions to curtail the wine directly to our palettes. Didn't suggest anything until he had a real conversation with us. The place was packed & he was obviously busy, but he took the time to make sure we had an enjoyable experience & exactly what we were looking for with food & wines. We immediately made another reservation to come back & spend time with him. He made us feel like we were the only table in the building, extremely charismatic & also made sure the Owner/Chef stopped to talk with us! Who also seemed very busy, but made time for us. What an unstoppable team!

A VERY great place to eat and have a drink if you desire. Looks accross the street to Lake Delavan. Very Friendly Staff and Yummy Food!!!!
We arrived at this restaurant at 1:20 on Sunday afternoon Aug.11th. We were promptly greeted by a young lady hostess that was very pleasant. We were seated immediately. Then the wait started. 13 minutes before we met by a server when we ordered our drinks AND lunch. The meal arrived in a reasonable amount of time but no drinks (ice tea) We caught the eye of the server by waiving and asked for our ice tea. When she brought them, she apologized for wait. 25 minutes later, I had to waive for the hostess as I never saw our server to ask for a refill of the ice tea after the meal was over. While eating, another table got their food delivered and no drinks. They got up and told another server they were leaving as they never received their drinks. The table behind us received their food and again the customers had to ask for their drinks again. We finished our meal and second glass of ice tea and had to get up and ask server for check. When she brought it and left it on table, it was the wrong check. It was much less than it should have been so I had to waive to the server to motion her to come to the table. I advised her the check was for not ours and much less than it should have been. I asked for a credit and the correct check. After10 minutes she returned and asked that I just pay the lesser check as they were too busy to do all the corrections. I agreed and paid the lesser amount but after close to an hour and a half to get a hamburger, all I wanted was to end the experience. This was the case the case with the family behind us as well. I will not be returning to this poorly run, understaffed establishment. The restaurant has great atmosphere and it a nice place BUT whoever is in charge needs to be replaced with someone who knows how to run a restaurant as well as the two servers. Major changes needed. Too bad.

We were at a retirement party hosted by the Frontier. Overall, the buffet was really superb. Great appetizers ahead and absolutely great food on the dinner buffet. My complaint, and the title of the review? The table had cream and sugar but no, and I mean NO coffee. I mentioned it to someone during our dessert, and he just walked away. Why do you do such a wonderful job and then throw it all away with something this simple? Even an urn over where the buffet was would have been nice, but NOTHING. Please, finish the job.

Their prime rib is excellent. It has a lot of flavor and tender. The hash browns are crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The duck soup is very good or you can't go wrong with the spinach salad. If you are in the area you must give it a try.

My wife, daughter and I recently had lunch at Elizabeth's Cafe, primarily because of it's standing on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. I had the Malibu Chicken, my wife had the burger. My daughter had a pancake and a croissant. All the food was excellent. It got to the table quickly. And the price was very reasonable. I think about $24 before tip. i would highly recommend this place and I intend to eat there next time I'm in Delavan.
