The 5 O'clock Club

Our first visit to the 5 O'Clock Club was great! Service was friendly, fast, and attentive without being obtrusive. The food was delicious--scallops primavera and the east coast/west coast seafood dish. Apps of Blue Point oysters and shrimp cocktail were on special, and we're tasty, too. It was my husband's birthday, so we also got a free serving of freshly made Italian donuts, but had to take them home because we were so full from the meal. Prices were moderate, so this is a place you'd go for special occasions, mostly, but there were several groups that appeared to be regulars, too. We loved our time here, and would definitely recommend the 5 O'clock Club to anyone looking for a break from the typical burgers-fries-pizza fare so common in this area.

Corner Bar

This place does great pizza. In my opinion you can match it up with any thin crust in the twin cities. My only reason For giving us an average star is because of the salad bar. While the salad bar itself is fine nothing special, that night they had pork ribs which were extremely tough and I wondered how long they had been frozen. The roasted chicken though was very good. Green beans at the salad bar were obviously out of a can. My advice. Stay away from the salad bar and stick with the pizza.

The County Line Bar and Grill

Reviewed By LadybugRiceLake_WI

We've been here 3 times recently and I would recommend the fish fry (both broiled and fried), prime rib and broasted chicken. Avoid the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, as they skimped on the meat. My only real complaint is the inconsistent service, as the 1st visit had average service, the 2nd time we got excellent service and the 3rd time the service was really quite poor (and it did not correlate to how busy they were, as the worst service was when barely anyone else was in the place). One tip is that certain sites mislead you about County Line accepting credit/debit cards. They DO NOT. Bring cash, or you will have to get cash out of the ATM in their bar to pay your bill.
