Was invited to dinner with friends. There were eight of us at the table..Was given one little basket of bread. Had to walk to the bar area to get more. Ordered our meal and half got salads. Which took for ever to come out. Then they mixed up who got what dressing. Food came out and they had trouble getting the right plate to the right person. They were also out of a lot if items..Food was good once they got it to the right person, but the service was way down..

Look this is not your gourmet burgers-their frozen (they do make fresh pressed burgers but go with the "original"; their fries are frozen crinkle cuts. The customers all local and a little "salty" -that's what gives it the country store ambiance. It is MARVELOUS-the fries impeccable and scalding hot temperature wise-the frozen burger so very flavorful -it takes generations of experience to deliver food like this and they do it very well. And the BONUS -they make fountain sodas like drug stores did generations ago and hand dipped milk shakes! All exceptional and not gimmicky ! You won't understand until you try it!

I looked forward to having a crab cake while in Crisfield and the man at our motel recommended this restaurant. The crab cake was pretty good but was so small. The coleslaw and hush puppies were okay- not horrible but nothing to write home about. For the price of $16.00 I expected more. The service was good. The atmosphere is laid back. In the picture below you can see how tiny the crab cake was. Itâs there on the plate sitting between the hush puppies and the little cup of tarter sauce.

This place is below average in every way. Subs are made with generic meat and boring bread. Don't expect anything fancy. Tried fried chicken from friend's order which was the worst I've had. Very dry and hardly any meat on the bone.I know this is a carry out, but inside has zero decor and music. Not a very welcoming atmosphere.Time for this place to step up the game a little as it seems years behind the times.

Sweet shop with fresh made donuts, candies, brownies, and famous to this area, Smith Island Cakes. Also service ice cream, pizza, French fries, chicken nuggets. Very nice owner! She aims to please and will make special cakes for any occasion.
