Crewe /kruː/ is a railway town and civil parish within the borough of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The area has a population of 84,863. Crewe is perhaps best known as a large railway junction and home to Crewe Works, for many years a major railway engineering facility for manufacturing and overhauling locomotives, but now much reduced in size. From 1946 until 2002 it was also the home of Rolls-Royce motor car production. The Pyms Lane factory on the west of the town now produces Bentley motor cars exclusively. Crewe is 158 miles north of London and 35 miles south of Manchester.

There is the choice of two kfcs in Crewe but in my opinion this newer kfc near Morrisons is by far the best. The interior is nice and fresh as you would expect from a new restaurant but there seems to be a better energy about the place. I've not had a wrong order yet here which seems to happen a lot at the other store and they haven't had anything not in stock which is again a refreshing change. The gravy is lush and the lady who is regularly on the drive through is so lovely and happy she deserves employee of the month.

Tried this place for the first time today with my wife and son. Not surprised by the amazing reviews! The food was tasty and canât say anything bad about this place. My partner and I have been to Hickoryâs 6 times since it opened in Crewe. This morning we tried the breakfast. I had the American breakfast, waffle, bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, beans, potato fritters and maple syrup. Absolutely delicious I couldnât fault it and who would have thought bacon & syrup were made for each other? Next time Iâll order the kid portion as I wasted a lot!My partner usually has his steak well done, however, he opted for chefs preference and loved his medium rare steak. His eggs were perfect and despite not feeling that hungry, he polished it off no problem.The staff here are lovely, very attentive, efficient, friendly and polite every visit. Even when busy the service is impeccable. Other places would do well adopting their customer values. Keep it up Hickoryâs.
