After spending the morning cleaning DAR grave markers I. The City Cemetery, it was time for lunch. Best cheesesteaks east of Atlanta, great tuna hoagies, good meaty fries, great wings. Looking for good food? This is the place, friendly staff, you will see friends and families. Give it a try.

First time eating there and met a friend for lunch. We both ordered the chopped steak special. What a mistake! My chopped steak was a single, greasy, re-heated, small hockey puck hamburger patty served with a tiny dish of over cooked green beans probably from a can and french fries that were cold and had been sitting around for a while. My friend's order was no better. The atmosphere of the place is old and tired. Bill for the two of us (we both had the chopped steak and a lite beer) came to $32 with tip. We would have been better off going to a fast food restaurant! At least the waitress was friendly and served our meals well. Will think twice about going back again.

Situated in downtown Covington within a former drugstore that provides both name and thematic inspiration, this well-appointed eatery, decked out with tile, leather and exposed brick, serves New American fare that nods Southern and relies on regional ingr
Our party of 6 walked in before church was over and the hostess seemed surprised to see us. We quickly found out why. They weren't prepared. Our food took forever to be served and they got a few of our orders wrong. The hostess apologized, but they didn't offer to discount our ticket any, which they should have since the service was so poor. I probably won't go back.

Really enjoyed the food. Small family owned and run restaurant offering quality food at a great price. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Call ahead to get the fried pork skins, they are delicious!
We love to eat lunch here. We always see friends and neighbors. Great menu, priced very reasonable, tasty food. You will see all types of people eating here. Police, fire chief, lawyers, out of town visitors, you name it. Burgers, soups, salads, many types of sandwiches. Daily specials, great place to eat lunch.

Having experienced a delightful evening and outstanding meal the previous night at Mystic Grill right down the street on Covington Square, we made reservations at RLs, hoping for another enjoyable and sumptuous meal.On arrival no one was at the entry to greet usfor over 10 minutes. Waitstaff scurried back and forth but totally ignored us. We had decided to leave when we were finally noticed and 15 minutes after our reservation time, we were taken to a booth in a rather dated and uninspired dining area. A long table set for 16 very loud diners dominated the room. We love excellent crab cakes, and looked forward to some delicious lump crabmeat with very modest filler. Instead we both received plates with 3 bisquick like breaded âsomethingsâ.See photo. No discernible crabmeat but some mushy filler. We each took one bite and retired the plate. Perhaps we should have ordered one of the etouffee dishes, but an altogether less than satisfactory experience.

Bradleys is a local favorite!! I'm not normally a big BBQ fan but I crave Bradley's BBQ! I love their spicy bbq sauce. Their pickles are awesome! Other favorites on the menu is hambugers (these are not premade patties but made to order), Turkey melt but my favorite the smoked chicken salad on texas toast (this item isn't really on the menu but will be a special from time to time). My co-workers and I are regulars. It's a must try!

I love the atmosphere and the food is great! I just hate that the prices on some things are outrageous. The fried green tomatoes have pimento cheese and they are so good. The pics are of this, the sweet tea chicken and the salad plate with pasta salad, chicken salad and a mystic salad.Thank you Holli for letting us know about your experience. We're happy you thought the atmosphere and food was great. We hope to see you again soon.

We are a family owned and operated, classic 50's diner, serving handcrafted black angus hamburgers, hot dogs and "Super Dogs". We have jumbo hot wings in 7 flavors, gyros, homemade chicken salad, Philly cheesesteaks, Rueben sandwiches, homemade chili and
I was there with my family to have lunch, I'm not a local I'm from Miami. I was there with my family that lives nearby and everything would of been great. But when middle son came in with his black wife and there son, it seemed like everything went quiet, maybe it was me but i did a scan of the restaurant and it seemed like all eyes were on us. We sat down and ordered our food. It seemed to take a little longer than i thought it would for our food to arrive, when our food was severed everyone but my middle son family got there food. We inquired to our server he said he put it in there system wrong. Although my daughter in law was getting upset rightfully so i was able to calm her down with the help of her son.Iâm sorry but this is ridiculous. This is 2019. Bi-racial families are everywhere. I married a woman of another race. Our own children are bi-racial. The cooks in the kitchen see a screen and printed ticket. Not the color of our customersâ skin. Our kitchen manager is black and was promoted from within over other staff with more years here because she earned it. We love all people. We donât see color but rather character. Thank you for visiting Hot Rodâs but race played no part in how promptly your familyâs food was prepared.
