We were seated at a table on the back porch--so charming and quaint--for a recent Sunday brunch. The menu is varied enough that everyone can easily find something that appeals to their tastes. Service was great---attentive and helpful. All of our selections were prepared as ordered and tasty. Portions were more than ample. We will return!

First of all, Georgia Diner moved last Spring to the Nevada Diner site, 80-26 Queens Boulevard@51st Avenue. Met a friend there for an early dinner, so the place was mostly empty; by the time we left around 7 pm, it was almost full. The staff was very pleasant ad attentive, frequenly coming around to refill water glasses (and later coffee cups). Food was good - I had the moussaka, which was made with potatoes as well eggplant, my friend had the tilapia with vegetables and rice, which she enjoyed. portions were large and came with a salad or soup, and something I hadnât seen in years, a triple serving dish of cole slaw, pickled beets and three bean salad. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, but next time weâll leave room! Because the ratings segment below was not respondÃng on my tablet: Service 5; Food 4; Value 5.

Family restaurant on busy Austin Street in Queens (Lots of kids with parents). Atmosphere is great. Ate their famous Bison Burger and the fame is deserved. Wonderful taste and consistency and I did not feel over-stuffed, which is a plus for a man in his late 50s. Healthier than other burgers out there. Salads also delicious and Sangria was sublime. Menu layout is new and more complex than necessary. Overall, it was a satisfying experience

This great little place was just down the block from my hotel, and Iâm so glad it was. Super friendly staff, from our server to the manager and cook/chef. The dinner portions were huge! If you order a dinner, be prepared to eat a ton of food, the meals themselves were large, but add the breads, the salads and pasta, and your got an idea of the amount you are served. The menu is both old school diner with burgers, sandwiches, and breakfasts, as well as fajitas, paninis, souvlakia, pasta and a whole variety of other options. I loved this little place. If I lived in Queens, this would be a regular haunt for me

Sanfords has been an Astoria landmark since 1922. The Sanfords of today serves exceptionally well prepared American comfort food, in a modern, casual & sleek environment. The space is bright & alive during the day. Dim, candlelit and relaxing in the eveni
street parking is the choice here, depending on the time of the day is not super hard to find parking. This place used to be a regular dinner, open late and stuff. over time they started to change and now they are some super upscale restaurant, very hip and very well crowded. Te food here got elevated and the taste here is king. MOSCATO- always get that sweet wine in my life. so we went ahead and got some sweet wine to start it correctly. TOMATOES SOUP- it tasted perfect, my friends love the soup here.TUNA TARTARE- looked so fresh a tasted so well seasoned, this is a very worth to try item from the menu.GOUDA DUCK BURGER- nice taste like Kibe, the gouda was very well blend into the burger, the burger was very nice a large, I go it with a salad and that was very well made as well.LAVA CAKE A LA MODE- nice and warm chocolate cake, with ice cream on top, perfect mix of hot and cold.Overall I am really impressed with the changes they have made over the years, they are elevated and much better than their original concept. Their food is better tan ever and I think they are an example of success.

My husband and I had dinner at this diner two nights ago. We both liked their food, the ambiance and the service.I ordered the eggplant parmigiana dinner, which was delicious. The Rhode Island Clam Chowder was also very tasty. My husband ordered pork chops. He found them to be a bit dry/overcooked but he enjoyed them, nonetheless. Our server was very attentive and welcoming. We plan to go back next time we are in the area.

We stayed 2 nights at the Holiday Inn and had drinks, lunch, and dinner here. (Breakfast also, not sure if it's the same management though.) For a Holiday Inn bar, this place exceeded expectations. It's your neighborhood bar, only in Queens! They had a good selection of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. If you're used to Manhattan prices this will seem like a bargain. Dinner specials were fantastic, although our server steered us to the Italian specialties, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. If you're traveling to Citi field from out of town, you're probably like us & searching for a decent restaurant close by. Not many choices for out-of-towners in the area honestly, so you should put this place at the top of your list even if you're not staying at the Holiday Inn. After an afternoon game we found ourselves at the bar with many locals, which seemed to affirm that this place has a solid reputation. Manager frequently circulated to be sure we were satisfied, and we were. We will be back.

Owned and operated by the Barnes Family since 1959, London Lennieâs has evolved from a quintessential fish-nâ-chips shop to the premier seafood restaurant in Queens. London Lennieâs is notorious for the best in fresh, local seafood selected daily at the w
We went to this restaurant to celebrate our friendâs 80th birthday. Although we traveled a distance to eat here because we wanted a special dinner, our waiter seemed uninterested in serving us. A simple request for an extra glass was met with the response: itâll be a few minutes. Really? The bar was a few feet away. When we told him that we were ready to order, he told us he would take it in a few minutes. This was how the whole lunch went. My request for no garlic was not heeded and was sick all evening. He even forgot to put a candle on the birthday girlâs dessert even though he was told. This is not a cheap restaurant - the bill was about $50 per person for lunch. Unfortunately the tip was automatically added, otherwise I would have left far less. There was no need to please us when you know you are getting 18% of the bill. We will never go here again! He truly spoiled the day for everyone, but especially the birthday celebrant.

I love BBQ and make it a point to trying BBQ whenever I am in a new area.I was looking forward to trying the best BBQ in Queens...Hits and misses....Pros and Cons....Service was very good and very pleasant.Restaraunt was clean.Had a nice Imperial IPA.My brisket was dry with no bark or smoke ring. There was a thin layer of fat that provided the only moisture. See picture.Rib tips were good...but Ive had better. They were out of sauced ribs so I went with dry rub. They were very good.Mac & Cheese was very creamy, not my style but good flavor.Other meals at the table were brunch related and enjoyed. It is probably a true statement, the best in Queens.

This was our first time eating here. We found it on Trip Advisor. We really enjoyed eating here. They offered a full diner type menu-breakfast and brunch selections, burgers(7 oz), salads, vegetarian panini or wraps, sandwiches, desserts, milkshakes, smoothies and coffee drinks. I had challah French toast with fruit. My husband had an omelette with cheddar cheese and mushrooms. Both our orders included fresh orange juice and coffee. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. In addition we had very good service. If we are in this area again we will definitely eat here. One other thing - they have both indoor and outdoor seating.
