Reviews on American food in Cork, Province of Munster, Ireland. Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

We stayed in the attached Travellodge Hotel and grabbed a quick bite in Rockin Joes before we went to a party. Lovely Burgers and chips but my God, this peanut butter shake I will dream of for a long time. You probably gain 10 Kilos just by smelling on it but its addictive and so damn good.

The West Cork Burger Company is located within Cork city and is a central location. From our visit, the restaurant was packed and very busy so Iâd recommend a visit. The menu has a great selection with Angus/ Wagyu beef, chicken, and vegetarian/ vegan options. The burgers are delicious and the portion size is good. You can also customise a burger yourself which I think is a great feature. Definitely worth a visit if in Cork!

A menu with the ultimate ingredients creating amazingly high quality food, large portions cooked fresh and just bloody good value for money! Itâs truly a phenomenon. Lending itself to the hand built and constructed burgers and pizzas, to the pasta, steaks
Came here with a group of friends. Staff were very welcoming and fun. However the food was poor. Pizza tasted like cardboard. Chips not cooked properly. Wonât be back for the food but the staff were lovely.

1st off the burgers were great and the staff were excellent. Charging â¬10 for a burger and extra for the sides is a bit much though

Visited for late lunch / early dinner on the Saturday afternoon of the jazz weekend in Cork, so everywhere was extremely busy. We were seated quickly given how busy it was and staff were brilliant - recommending dishes and drinks on our request. Food was fresh and tasty - a great spot for upmarket burgers and fries!

This place reminded me of when I lived in America and on fridays me and my girlfriend would go to the local diner during the 60s. It had a outstanding atmosphere and the staff were delightful and very patient. Great food.

In town overnight between legs of a Paddywagon tour. We were just out looking for a refreshment and stopped in. Awesome selection of Irish and American whiskies! Decided to have a couple of appetizers rather than a full meal, as more libations are planned. Made to feel very welcome, drinks were plentiful and the food was fantastic! Highly recommended!

Bunsen's does one thing - American hamburgers, and they are the best at it.Traveling Ireland we often found hamburgers over cooked. According to the locals it was "the law" that all hamburgers had to be coked "well done". So they usually were. Unfortunately that usually made them taste bad. However, for some reason Bunsen's can give you a tastey, fresh burger cooked medium. What a difference! The meat is juicy and tender. If you love American hamburgers, this is the place to eat.

We arrived on Thursday evening, having been turned away from another restaurant as we had a double buggy. The manager simply could not have been more helpful or more accommodating Indeed all the staff were excellent and so professional. Food was superb. Fair play to all the staff, keep doing what you are doing. We will be back for a proper night out soon....without the kids. 10/10

and we weren't disappointed. We were passing through Cork on our way from Tipperary to Kenny, and needed a place for a rest and some breakfast. Cafe Spresso is a charming little hole in the wall, run by one person. I've read several recent reviews talking about Thomas, but the morning we were there we were served by a young woman. She took our order, cooked it, and delivered it to our table. In between doing that, and waiting on other customers, she received a delivery of produce and dairy products, and sorted and put away the fairly large order. I think she might secretly be wonder woman. She was efficient, friendly and the food was wonderful.
