Alter House is a family owned restaurant dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. Our aim is to provide our guests with unique culinary offerings paired with incredible service, in a relaxed atmosphere. We hold ourselves to the highest possible standar
A second visit to this newer restaurant did not disappoint. Salted beets salad for an appetizer was tasty and delicious. The risotto main was plentiful with asparagus and light flavors of herbs. The mascarpone was not heavy as I had expected. Service is excellent and the most professional that I have experienced in this area. Inside the decor is attractive and conducive to dining. I am wondering why the owner does nothing to soften the exterior and make it more welcoming to passers by. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are thrilled you enjoyed everything about your dining experience. As for the exterior we are working on a parking lot project which locks us into only using any temporary landscaping at present and sadly the weather isnât agreeing for us to tackle any of the larger projects. We are certainly getting there though. Thank you again and we most certainly look forward to seeing you again soon!

Homemade salads, sandwiches and soups for lunch and dinner. Pasta, chicken and more severed after 4:00 pm. Everything made fresh daily. Simply Homemade! Soups, sauces, sandwiches, salads, and meatballs just to name a few. All homemade! Everything is made
My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner after a trip to Philadelphia. My wife had a ceasar salad which she completely loved and I had sweet sausage calabrese that was classic along with penne and homemade sauce that was very enjoyable. A salad also came with my meal with a delicious Russian dressing. Our server was very attentive and added to the interesting decor and overall experience. Thank you! We are so happy you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again.

Great burgers and fries at this place. It's Pub style food with a nice, casual bar atmosphere. The menu has been expanded to include some additional offerings. Prices are good on both food and drink. Service is excellent. the bar gets very crowded, always a good sign!

My husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate my birthday. It's a cute little restaurant, a bit outside of the main part of town, but it's worth driving out to. The portions were huge, the flavor great, and the staff very friendly. We were stuffed halfway through dinner, so we ended up taking home leftovers. As advertised, this is also a bakery. We purchased a piece of carrot cake to take home with us. The portion was ginormous and the cost was really cheap. It tasted delicious too!If you're looking for a cheap place to get (a lot of) delicious food, stop by here. You won't regret it!

Sunrise Café is a little hole in the wall where all the local's go. The foot is always good and very reasonably priced, the servers are all friendly. When we go for breakfast I always order ONE blueberry pancake and can't even finish that!!

Ate at Tullyâs restaurant tonite for dinner. First time ever and first time Iâve ever even heard about them. The food was great. The ambiance was nice and the staff was friendly. What an extensive menu they have. And the prices of drinks and food was very reasonable. Will definitely return!! But best of all was our server Christine. What a cheerful Halley person. Right away served us a bowl of popcorn and welcomed us!! Smiling friendly and told us weâd have s good time. And we did!! She served our drinks and gave us advice and what to order. But she said that really everything was very good. And she was right. The soup was never delivered they a mix up and she was so apologetic about it. Not really her fault. But she returned graciously to check on us. Ran back to get an iced tea with a cute smile and attitude. If I owned a restaurant I would definitely want her in it. So positive about the place and the food!! Such a good representative of the restaurant. She made our meal more appealing and cheerful!!

As one walks in, the glass display of desserts greets you. All look delicious.A meal stop while driving, the menu is huge with selections from appetizers, light fare to full meals.I ordered the Chopped Sirloin Steak meal. It came with Soup or Salad, and Dessert( choices of Puddings or Jello. The Salad was a generous portion of Lettuce, Tomato wedges, Croutons, Onions with a creamy Vinaigrette Dressing. The Steak was well seasoned covered with Sautéed Onions. Mashed Potatoes was my side dish.At the end, I had the Rice Pudding with Cinnamon, hold the Whipped Cream.Service was attentive and prompt.A very satisfying meal.

OMG! Always SO good!!! Excellent bread! (The only way I got my youngest daughter to eat a sandwich was on their sesame bread-NOT kidding!) My favorite sandwich is their turkey on sesame. My father who is the pickiest person in the whole world said their sandwiches are wonderful- meats are sliced perfectly. Your choice of breads, meats, cheeses, toppings, etc. They have homemade soups and different things like pizza during lent- great spot for lunch!

Our first time at State Street Grill and the food was excellent! My boyfriend and I like to go out for a nice dinner every so often and like to try places we haven't been to before. We made reservations ahead of time on our Open Table app. It states that you can request an outside patio table, but they can't always accommodate your request. When we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday for our reservation we were surprised to see so many open tables inside and outside so we were able to choose if we wanted to sit on the patio, which is what we did. Our server came over without much of a wait and told us the specials. We then ordered a bottle of wine. After that arrived we ordered appetizers and entrees. We ordered: Sweet Pea Sacchetti and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sliders for our appetizers. The portions were huge and everything was delicious. For our entrees we had: Avocado Flatbread minus cilantro and the larger order of Crab Cakes. Both were awesome. I really wish the flatbread had some spice to it since it had a jalapeno ricotta on it. It also had sliced jalapenos on top with most of the seeds removed, which I appreciated. We did not order dessert because we planned to go to Alter House and get an after dinner drink and dessert.Pros: The inside of the restaurant and the patio are both beautiful. They accept Open Table reservations.Service was quick.Prices were what we expected. It was nice that they had a vegan soup for a special.Cons: We didn't like sitting in the patio right next to the entrance and main road. A lot of foot and car traffic always going by.The table we were seated at had dirty placemats. Gross. We know what to expect when we order wine at restaurants because we do it often, but to pay $30 for a twist cap bottle of wine was sad. We've ordered $25 bottles at many other places and they're always corked. The waiter never offered more napkins. You have to eat your appetizers super fast because the entrees came out so soon after the appetizers. It was too quick.Overall, it's a great place. When dining out we try to stay away from chain restaurants so this was a great find. We'll definitely try them again, but won't be ordering the way overpriced wine.
