Stopped in for a quick meal while hunting with my son and grandson. Food was ok and service was good. Building was clean.
We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We have breakfast here every few months to give them another try since we are locals. But they always disappoint. Service is sub par and the food is very greasy. You leave not only with heartburn all day, but smell like the place.
Groucho's Deli - Fast, Fresh, and Original!
Not a deli in the traditional sense of the word. Open space with many tables and booths. Not much going on for a Saturday. Nice menu but not what I expected when served. This doesnât mean that you wonât like it. Give it a try and write your own review.Thank you for stopping by to give us a try, PHILRidgefield_CT! We appreciate you taking a moment to review us and hope you will stop back by to allow us another opportunity to earn an extra star or two. We sure hope you have a great rest of the week!
We came to Cheraw to celebrate jazz great Dizzy Gillespie's birthday. Stopped by the Morris Funeral Cottage to ask for lunch recommendations and we were steered to College Inn. Plain and unassuming, this place is warm and welcoming with knock-your-socks-off ribs. As the menu says, " Everything's Fine, Fine, Super-fine!" But space is limited and they're only open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 6:00-10:00 pm. Worth going out of your way to visit.
Actually located on Hwy 9 as you enter Cheraw South Carolina and in the same mall as the Walmart is a real delight. This is a franchise of a well established chain (Andy's in N.C.) but operated locally by a wonderful young couple who make sure nothing leaves the kitchen that isn't just right. The decor is 50's and they make no pretense of cooking nouvelle cuisine and thank god they don't because sometimes you just want a great burger and fries without wasabi, seared foie gras, or Lup Cheong Sausage (you get the idea...it's not Bachii Burger). The place is immaculate with smiling staff who make you think you woke up in the middle of "American Graffiti". The shakes are the real deal and if you want to ease up on the meat, there are sufficient salads available to keep you happy. Definitely a happening place!

Not sure what makes a calabash chicken a calabash chicken but the âworld famous calabash chickenâ was nothing more than a pile of ordinary fried chicken fingers smothered in bbq sauce. Was supposed to come with onion coleslaw but no dice. In fact, I was glad it came at all because I had to wait for more than 30 minutes on a not busy Sunday evening. To give them credit, they offered me a free peach cobbler for my wait, which turned out to be not too bad (although I found the walnuts a curious ingredient). Of course the wait for the peach cobbler was another 15 minutes... All in all, the food was okay but standard fast food fare, service was lousy, no need to be back anytime soon. Even the local KFC would probably have been a better choice.

Stopped by along way from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte, our whole group agreed this was the best meal of the week. Sunday is just buffet and wow was it good. Best fried chicken, a bold statement down South but you'll be seriously challenged to find better. Same for fried fish, and banana pudding was just outstanding. And all for an amazing price. Friendly service, clean local place obviously popular in the area. You need to experience this local gem.
